Day 10 – Bradley’s Basement’s Advent Calendar 2015

Hello everyone! 🙂

It’s Day 10 of ‘Bradley’s Basement’s Advent Calendar 2015’.

I’m going to talk about another one of my favourite Doctors from ‘Doctor Who’ who I grew up watching when the show came back in 2005. It’s the 10th today, so it shouldn’t be hard to guess who.

David Tennant is one of my favourites as the Tenth Doctor in ‘Doctor Who’. He was in the series from 2005 to 2010. He’s one of the best Doctors and I have very fond memories of watching his era on TV. I saw Series 4 with David Tennant in 2008 as well as seeing the 2008-2010 Specials on TV.

My favourite TV episodes with the Tenth Doctor include ‘Rise of the Cybermen’/’The Age of Steel’; ‘Army of Ghosts’/’Doomsday’ and ‘The Stolen Earth’/’Journey’s End’. My favourite audio stories with the Tenth Doctor include ‘The Feast of the Drowned’; ‘The Forever Trap’ and ‘Prisoner of the Daleks’.

On ‘Bradley’s Basement’, I’ve posted reviews on some TV episodes with David Tennant’s Doctor. These include ‘Gridlock’; ‘Daleks In Manhattan’/’Evolution of the Daleks’; ‘The Lazarus Experiment’ and ’42’. I plan to post more DVD reviews on David Tennant’s TV episodes of ‘Doctor Who’ very soon.

My favourite companions from David Tennant’s era include Billie Piper as Rose Tyler and Catherine Tate as Donna Noble. I enjoyed watching the Dalek and Cybermen stories from David Tennant’s era. I hope to share more in detail on what things I like about the Tenth Doctor era very soon on my blog.

I miss the David Tennant era terribly from ‘Doctor Who’. It was one of my happiest periods as a fan of the series when I was getting into it from 2005. I’m looking forward to ‘The Tenth Doctor Adventures – Volume 1’ with David Tennant and Catherine Tate by Big Finish that’s set to be released in May 2016.

Thanks for reading.

Bye for now.

Tim. 🙂
