TV Review – ‘Shaun the Sheep: The Farmer’s Llamas’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Baa! Do I seem ‘sheepish’ today?!

I enjoyed seeing ‘Shaun the Sheep: The Farmer’s Llamas’ on Boxing Day this year. This is a brand-new half-hour special episode starring Shaun the Sheep. It has well-known characters from Shaun’s CBBC series including Blitzer the dog; the Farmer; Timmy the lamb and introduces three naughty llamas.

On Boxing Day, I saw the ‘Shaun the Sheep Movie’ before watching this special episode. Click here to see my DVD review of the ‘Shaun the Sheep Movie’. ‘The Farmer’s Llamas’ has been fun to watch. Shaun was very funny and the story of the three llamas bought by the Farmer at a fete was hilarious.

Shaun gets up to mischief when he hitches a ride with the Farmer and Blitzer to a village fete. He tricks the Farmer into buying three equally mischievous llamas at an auction, to which he takes home. Shaun likes these new llamas at first, but their mischievous antics go too far when they’re at the farm.

This is a touching story where Shaun slowly comes to realise that the three llamas do no good and he begins to lose the respect he has from the Farmer; Blitzer and the sheep. Soon Shaun and his friends find a way to get rid of the llamas, especially when they become bad and light tunes can stop them.

I’m pleased I saw this special ‘Shaun the Sheep’ episode on Boxing Day. It was fun to watch with Shaun and his friends. It’s a silent short for the kids and one which I’m positive you’ll enjoy.

Thanks for reading!

Bye for now!

Tim. 🙂
