‘Happy Birthday to Me!’ 2016

Hello everyone! 🙂

It’s my birthday today! I’m having a nice time so far!

The birthday celebrations started last Thursday for me! At work, I was given birthday gifts from my domain. This included a framed signature by Peter Davison (Fifth Doctor) and an amazing homemade Dalek birthday cake! The Dalek didn’t show any resistance or exterminate me when I cut it to pieces. 😀

Yesterday on Saturday, I went to the ‘Stars of Time Film & Comic Con’ at the Helicopter Museum in Weston-super-Mare. I saw Sarah Sutton (Nyssa), my favourite ‘Doctor Who’ companion there! I couldn’t have asked for a nicer birthday present. I hope to give a convention report on the day soon on my blog.

Check out the photos of me with my Dalek birthday cake and of me with Sarah Sutton! Also check out a photo of me with a toy Dalek that I purchased from the ‘Stars of Time Film and Comic Con’. I’m looking forward to rest of my birthday. I hope to enjoy a nice meal at a restaurant and see the new movie ‘Captain America: Civil War’ at the cinema soon.

Thanks to those who’ve liked and commented on my posts and pages on my ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog. I hope to keep you entertained with new reviews on my favourite films; TV shows and ‘Doctor Who’ stories and I’m looking forward to post more ‘Doctor Who’ fan-fiction stories on my blog soon.

Bye for now.

Tim. 🙂

Wow, it does sound like you’ve had a great few days, Tim!

What a fantastic Dalek cake, how great is that, that someone made that for you! And the signed frame, is a great gift. Obviously your work colleagues have noticed that you like Doctor Who!

I hope the rest of your treats go well.

Did you see on BF the news about the Short Trips competition:
I thought you might be interested to have a look at it.

    Hi Leigh.

Oh I’ve had a fantastic birthday weekend! I hope to share more about my day trip in Weston-super-Mare soon.

Yes the Dalek cake was amazing! I didn’t expect that to be made for me. Someone named Rachel made that cake for me. She’s very good at making Dalek cakes, so she told me.

Yes it was nice to get that signed frame of Peter Davison, especially as I’ve met him a few times at conventions. My work colleagues do know about my love of ‘Doctor Who’, yes. I try my best not to bombard them with too much ‘Doctor Who’ fan knowledge though. 😀

I did see the Short Trips competition by BF. I’m very excited by this. I’ve got to put my thinking cap on now! 🙂

Thanks Leigh. I hope to enjoy the rest of my evening.

    Tim. 🙂

Happy Birthday Tim, a dalek cake (weres my slice?) A convention, meeting Sarah Sutton & going to see the awesome Civil War sounds like the ideal birthday my friend.

I’m so glad you had a nice day, couldn’t have happen to a nicer chap.

Thanks for your birthday wishes, Timelord Simon.

I had a wonderful birthday weekend!

I’m glad you liked the Dalek Birthday Cake I had. I felt so terrible after ‘exterminating’ it with slicing it up. It looked so good and well-made. It was eaten rather quickly by me; my work colleagues and my parents. So none left for you I’m afraid. 😀

It was great to see Sarah Sutton at a convention on the day before my birthday. It was a successful birthday treat and I’m pleased that it happened well for me.

Hopefully a review on ‘Captain America: Civil War’ will be on my blog soon. I’m sure you’ll enjoy reading it when it comes.

Thanks for your kind words, Simon. I enjoyed reading them.

    Tim. 🙂
