Do you remember…the future…in 1989?
On October 21st 2015, Marty McFly and Doc Brown visited the future of Hill Valley via the Delorean time machine. We’re in May 2016 now and I’ve been re-watching the ‘Back to the Future’ trilogy lately. I found it interesting how different those predictions were of the future back then.
2015 has come and gone, and it wasn’t anything like the 2015 seen in ‘Back to the Future, Part II’. There aren’t any flying cars; no hover-boards; no self-drying jackets or hydrated pizzas made today. But some predictions made in ‘Back to the Future, Part II’ for 2015 were right after all apparently.
I found these two YouTube videos of some amusing and interesting takes on what ‘Back to the Future, Part II’ got right about 2015 and what they got wrong. They’re both produced by China Uncensored and they list 10 of the things right and wrong about 2015 in ‘Back to the Future, Part II’.
