Hello everyone! 🙂
Recently I attended the ‘Stars of Time Film and Comic Con 2016 @ The Tropicana’, which you check out in my convention report via the link. I also spent some time in Weston-super-Mare over the Bank Holiday weekend from Friday to Monday. Here are some photographic memories of that weekend!
On Saturday, I went to see the Disney/Pixar movie ‘Finding Dory’ with the short film ‘Piper’ at the ODEON cinema. It was good to see that movie again at the cinema, before going to the ‘Stars of Time’ event the following day. I also went on a big wheel ride right outside the Premier Inn where I was staying. I took photos of a steam train model in a garden that was outside the ODEON cinema.
Sunday was the ‘Stars of Time Film and Comic Con’ event at the Tropicana, but you can read more about that in the above link.
On Monday, I went on a bus tour that took us around the coast of Weston-super-Mare. I took plenty of photos of the scenery whilst on that bus tour. I also went inside the Grand Pier; walked alongside the sea front; went on the ‘Wild Mouse’ roller coaster ride and dodgems at the ‘Funland Theme Park’; and went on the big wheel ride again outside the Premier Inn twice in the afternoon and evening.
The weather was pretty good during the time I spent in Weston-super-Mare that weekend. It was very busy with so many people there, considering it was the Bank Holiday weekend in August. But thankfully it wasn’t raining and it was very sunny on both Sunday and Monday that weekend. I enjoyed having sausages and chips at Weston-super-Mare and having ice-cream cones with a flake.
The August Bank Holiday weekend was very enjoyable for me overall. The highlight was the ‘Stars of Time’ event, but I enjoyed exploring more of Weston-super-Mare. If only I had time to explore the Winter Gardens; visit the churches and go on the Elena May train ride. But you can’t have it all, hey?
Check out the photos of my weekend in Weston-super-Mare.
