Day 12 – ‘Bradley’s Basement’s Advent Calendar 2016

advent-calendar-2016-12

Hello everyone! 🙂

It’s Day 12 of ‘Bradley’s Basement’s Advent Calendar 2016.

“Happy Birthday Sarah!”

What do ‘The Moon Stallion’ and ‘Doctor Who’ have in common?

Apart from Brain Hayles, it’s Sarah Sutton of course! 🙂 Here is one of my videos that I created on YouTube. To celebrate Sarah Sutton’s birthday today, here is my interview with the lovely lady who played Nyssa of Traken, my favourite ‘Doctor Who’ companion, from the TV series and the Big Finish audio stories!

This interview with Sarah by me was recorded at the ‘Bournemouth Film and Comic Con’ in August, 2015. Sarah and I both found a room where we could conduct the interview at the Bournemouth International Centre. I really enjoyed doing my interview with Sarah and she said she enjoyed it too!

During the interview, I asked Sarah five questions about her time in ‘Doctor Who’ through TV and the Big Finish audios. I enjoyed the answers Sarah gave. It was very nice to have exchanges between me and Sarah about what her thoughts were on playing Nyssa and on ‘Doctor Who’ itself in general.

I’m very pleased that Sarah’s favourite ‘Doctor Who’ stories include ‘Black Orchid’ and ‘The Keeper of Traken’, as they’re my favourites too. Sarah said some very nice things about me during the interview and she also thanked me for the presents I gave her from my holiday in Oxford that year, which I’m very pleased about.

I cherish this interview with Sarah Sutton by me! I haven’t done anymore interviews since then, but I hope that one day I’ll get a chance to do some more interviews soon. I’d like to interview Sarah again should I get a chance to and I hope I’ll get to interview people like Sophie Aldred or Wendy Padbury.

Thanks for watching and reading!

Bye for now!
