Quick DVD Box Set Review – ‘It Ain’t Half Hot Mum’

My parents and I have just finished atching the complete DVD box set of ‘It An’t Half Hot Mum’! This was a Christmas present I gave to Dad last year and I’m amazed we’ve finished all the episodes over a month! My parents have really enjoyed this comedy series and I’m pretty pleased about that!

I just like to share some thoughts on the latest news about ‘Doctor Who’!

Peter Capaldi is leaving ‘Doctor Who’! Whoa! This is a bit of surprise I’m sure to all you ‘Doctor Who’ fans! I’m saddened that Peter Capaldi is leaving as the Twelfth Doctor in ‘Doctor Who’. I would have expected him to stay on after Steven Moffat left the series and Chris Chibnall took over! Sadly not!

It’s the 36th anniversary of Nyssa of Traken in ‘Doctor Who’ today! It’s also the 1st anniversary since ‘The Nyssa Challenge’ began on ‘Bradley’s Basement’! How amazing is that?!

John Hurt – 1940-2017

Hello everyone.

I’m saddened to hear the news today that the actor, Sir John Hurt, has passed away. For me, Sir John played the War Doctor in the 50th anniversary TV special of ‘Doctor Who’ called ‘The Day of the Doctor’. He was also a big Hollywood movie star appearing in the ‘Harry Potter’ and ‘Hellboy’ film series.

This is a Third Doctor adventure in book form and was chosen for the 50th anniversary collection of ‘Doctor Who’ books to represent the Third Doctor era!
