Hello everyone! 🙂
At last! I’ve seen it! ‘The LEGO Batman Movie’!
I had a great time seeing this at the cinema! This really cheered me up as I’ve been waiting to see this movie since March 2016! ‘The LEGO Batman Movie’ is highly recommended! It’s funny; it’s action-packed and of course it’s LEGO Batman in it! What’s not to like, as surely Batman would say?!
‘The LEGO Batman Movie’ is a follow-up to the ‘The LEGO Movie’ that also featured the LEGO Batman in it. I’d seen teaser trailers beforehand in the run-up to the release of ‘The LEGO Batman Movie’. I was not to be disappointed as there are many moments that I’d found myself laughing at.
There are also moments that were pretty thrilling and action-packed to watch. In ‘The LEGO Batman Movie’, Batman finds himself fighting crime in Gotham City, led by the evil Joker. But Batman has to face the reality of a family and this includes raising his adopted son Robin who becomes his sidekick.
I loved watching Batman in this LEGO movie, voiced by Will Arnett (who also did Batman for ‘The LEGO Movie’). Batman is so full of himself in this LEGO movie and I enjoyed that voice-over at the beginning during the opening credits by him. I find myself doing the voice of LEGO Batman from this. 😀
There’s also Alfred Pennyworth voiced by Ralph Fiennes, who I enjoyed watching a lot in this movie. There’s also the Joker, voiced by Zach Galifianakis; Robin, voiced by Michael Cera and Barbara Gordon, who becomes Batgirl, voiced by Rosario Dawson. Plenty of Batman characters appear here.
There are also characters from other movies and TV shows that I was stunned to see making an appearance in this movie. There was Sauron from ‘The Lord of the Rings’ appearing in this as well as the Daleks from ‘Doctor Who’. Seriously! I’m not making it up! They’re in ‘The LEGO Batman Movie’!
‘The LEGO Batman Movie’ has been a very enjoyable and worthwhile movie to watch at the cinema this year! I’ve now seen the movie twice at the cinema, first with my best mate Stephen and second with my parents. Stephen enjoyed this movie when he saw it, so it must have been really good, hey?
This movie also celebrates the best of Batman in the movies…as well as the worst! 😀 There are also some moral messages to be found as my Dad discovered when my parents and I saw this movie together.
Thanks for reading!
Bye for now!
Tim. 🙂

Hi Simon.
Yes I really enjoyed ‘The LEGO Batman Movie’ at the cinema! I’ve been looking forward to seeing it since ‘Batman v Superman’. I wasn’t disappointed. I hope I’ll get the DVD someday.
I don’t know whether I will watch ‘Logan’ at the cinema. It looks and sounds pretty interesting especially with Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart in it together. Interesting you found the last 10 minutes of the film ruined it for you. I’ll let you know what I think of it should I see it this year.
Tim. 🙂
