Hello everyone! 🙂
This is what my parents and I did on Easter Monday 2017!
Remember when I did a day trip report on visiting the ‘Doctor Who Experience’ in November 2016? I never thought I would be visiting the ‘Doctor Who Experience’ again before it closed down. I enjoyed having a day trip with my parents to the tourist attraction of one of my favourite TV shows.
I suggested going to the ‘Doctor Who Experience’ again on my whim to my parents during the Easter holidays. Since my parents haven’t visited the Experience for a while from the Matt Smith days, they were keen to go and see it before it’d closed down and how much had changed with Peter Capaldi.
My parents and I did what me and best mate Stephen did last time when we were there at the ‘Doctor Who Experience’. We went through the Gallifrey Museum itself; had a look around the exhibition itself with costume displays of companions and monsters as well as set designs and eventually visited the gift shop at the very end.
Here are some photos of me and my parents from the ‘Doctor Who Experience’ day trip on Easter Monday.
There was something my parents and I did at the ‘Doctor Who Experience’ that I hadn’t done before. We had photos taken of us three against a green screen, and had backdrops of the outside of the TARDIS and the inside of the TARDIS from the Russell T. Davies era. I love these family photos of us!
Afterwards, we have a nice meal at the ‘Bella Italia’ restaurant in Cardiff Bay! 😀
I’m very pleased I had a chance to visit the ‘Doctor Who Experience’ again with my parents lately. I don’t know if I’ll visit the Experience again before it closes down in the summer time. But thankfully, I’ve been able to visit a place that I’ve enjoyed seeing for one more time that is closer to my home.

Thanks for reading!
Hope you enjoyed the photos! 😀
Bye for now!
Tim. 🙂
Awesome photos Tim, your dad gets a free drink from me for wearing his Fourth Doctor scarf with pride lol, was there any mementos from companion Billy Walker i wonder?
I noticed it’s changed dramatically since i went in 2011, anyway I’m glad you & your parents had a great day out my friend.

Hi Simon.
Very pleased you enjoyed my Day Trip report on ‘The Doctor Who Experience’. When we were having a meal in ‘Bella Italia’, Dad said he wanted to keep that Tom Baker scarf. I’ll have to get him a Tom Baker scarf for his birthday or for Christmas next time! 😀
Yes I’m sure it has changed for you since 2011. It’s a lot different to how it was with Matt Smith as the Doctor compared to Peter Capaldi. During the Gallifrey Museum introduction, Lalla Ward’s Romana gets to speak which was exciting for me.
Thanks for your comments, Simon. Glad you enjoyed this.
Tim. 🙂
