Hello everyone! 🙂
Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!
I’ve now added my reviews on the ‘Doctor Who’ stories by the author of ‘The Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy’ himself, Douglas Adams. Douglas wrote three ‘Doctor Who’ stories for TV and was the script-editor for the series in 1979 for Season 17. I’m celebrating his contribution to the series in my reviews!
The ‘Doctor Who’ stories by Douglas Adams are as follows. There’s ‘The Pirate Planet’, ‘City of Death’ and ‘Shada’. Click on the links to check out my ‘Doctor Who’ DVD reviews on these three adventures.
There are also reviews on the novelizations/audiobooks of these three ‘Doctor Who’ stories. These include the novelizations/audiobooks of ‘The Pirate Planet’ and ‘City of Death’ by James Goss and the novelization/audiobook of ‘Shada’ by Gareth Roberts. These novelizations/audiobooks are superb!!!
There’s also my review on the Big Finish audio adaptation of ‘Shada’, starring Paul McGann as the Eighth Doctor with Lalla Ward as Romana and John Leeson as K-9. Click on the link to see my review!
There’s also my review on the ‘Doctor Who’ documentary called ‘More Than 30 Years In The TARDIS’. This documentary was added with the TV version of ‘Shada’ in ‘The Legacy Collection’ DVD box set.
You can purchase the ‘The Pirate Planet’ from the DVD box set of ‘The Key to Time’ series; ‘City of Death’ on its own and ‘Shada’ from ‘The Legacy Collection’ DVD box set either from Amazon.co.uk or Amazon.com.
You can also purchase the audio adaptation of ‘Shada’ either from Amazon.co.uk; Amazon.com or the Big Finish website.
Enjoy!
Bye for now!
Tim. 🙂
