Hello everyone! 🙂
Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!
August has come and gone already! I enjoyed that month very much! Let’s see what’s in store for September 2017 on ‘Bradley’s Basement’!
First of all, I’m looking forward to my family summer holiday with my parents to Amroth for 2017. Check out my holiday report for Amroth 2016 via the link! I hope to give a holiday report for Amroth 2017 soon on my blog!
Most of August 2017 was dominated by a repeat of ‘The Space Hotel’ from ‘The Fifth Doctor by Tim Bradley’ series on ‘Bradley’s Basement’. If you’re not read that story at all, check it out in full via the link above. Also check out my latest reflection on ‘The Space Hotel’ on my blog.
The highlight for August 2017 was the ‘York Unleashed 2017’ convention which I enjoyed with Peter Davison and Sarah Sutton, my two favourite people from ‘Doctor Who’, attending. Check out my convention report for the event in the link above. This also includes an interview by me with Sarah Sutton on her ‘Top Five Favourite Nyssa Audios’.
With ‘Doctor Who Timelines’, I’ve added three new ones to my blog for three ‘Doctor Who’ monsters. These include the Silence, the Autons and the Zygons. Check them out via ‘The Monsters Timelines Index’ on my blog. Stay tuned for some new ‘Doctor Who Timelines’ coming soon this month!
I’ve also been adding new ‘Doctor Who Reviews’ to my blog including ‘City of Death’, ‘Shada’, the 2003 webcast/audio of ‘Shada’, ‘The Doctor, the Widow and the Wardrobe’, ‘Pond Life’, ‘The Macra Terror’, ‘The Faceless Ones’, ‘The Evil of the Daleks’, ‘The Tomb of the Cybermen’, etc. I’ve also added new reviews on the novelization for ‘The Pirate Planet’ by James Goss and audio novelizations for ‘The Stones of Blood’ and ‘The Androids of Tara’ by David Fisher.
For September, I’ll be adding new ‘Doctor Who Reviews’ on ‘The Trial of a Time Lord’ with Colin Baker and three Matt Smith TV episodes including ‘The Eleventh Hour’, ‘The Beast Below’ and ‘Victory of the Daleks’.
I’ve completed my reviews on all five seasons of the BBC sitcom, ‘Keeping Up Appearances’ as well updating my reviews on the two seasons of ‘Fawlty Towers’. Check out the links to my pages on ‘Keeping Up Appearances’ and ‘Fawlty Towers’ to find, read and comment on my reviews. For September, I will be starting to re-watch ‘Star Trek: The Next Generation’ to add reviews on my ‘Star Trek’ page! Stay tuned!
I’ve also added my latest ‘Batman’ reviews on the original ‘Batman’ film series. These film reviews include ‘Batman’, ‘Batman Returns’, ‘Batman Forever’ and ‘Batman & Robin’. Please feel free to check out and comment on my latest ‘Batman’ film reviews!
There’s a new page on my ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog on ‘The World of Agatha Christie’. For September, I’ll be adding my DVD reviews on Series 1 of ITV’s ‘Agatha Christie’s Marple’ with Geraldine McEwan. Stay tuned for these DVD reviews on the four TV movies from Series 1!
Sadly in August, we’ve lost Robert Hardy who, for me, played Siegfried Farnon in ‘All Creatures Great and Small’ with Christopher Timothy and Peter Davison. Check out my tribute for Robert Hardy in the link above.
Check out my latest blog posts for August 2017 including my ‘The Big Finish Podcast – Sarah Sutton (August 2017)’ and ‘What do I like about the Fifth Doctor era?’
We’re fast approaching the second anniversary of ‘Bradley’s Basement’ by the end of September this year. To celebrate, the blog will undergo a regeneration. Stay tuned to find out what new changes will be made to my blog when this happens!
And that’s all for a preview on September 2017! Keep following my blog to find out more news and updates that will be coming later on my ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog!
Enjoy!
Bye for now!
Tim. 🙂
