Hello everyone! 🙂
Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!
And welcome to the ‘Star Wars Film Review Season’!
For the next six weeks, we’ll be looking into the first six movies of the ‘Star Wars’ saga to celebrate 40 years of the franchise. I’m more of a ‘Star Trek’ fan than a ‘Star Wars’ fan, but that doesn’t stop me from sharing why I enjoyed these movies so much and to find what’s good and bad about them.
“And what better way to review the ‘Star Wars’ saga by going right back to the beginning!” (Pause) “And by the beginning, I don’t mean the first ‘Star Wars’ movie that was made in 1977. Because that’s ‘Episode IV – A New Hope’. And ‘Episode IV’ isn’t the first episode of the ‘Star Wars’ saga, is it?”
No, we’re going to start this ‘Star Wars Film Review Season’ by going into ‘Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace’!
Okay, okay, I’ll let you have a little groan here.
But as my DVD copy of ‘The Phantom Menace’ says, ‘every saga has a beginning’. And it’s only fair this movie should be treated as the chronological beginning of the ‘Star Wars’ saga. Will I find good things about this movie as well as the bad? There’s only one way to find out and that’s by my review.
“And there’s definitely no crossover review by me and Timelord007 in the ‘Star Wars Film Review Season’!” (Pause; confused) “Why did I say that?”
Please check out my review on ‘Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace’ by clicking on the link. Please feel free to read and comment on my review.
Stay tuned for my review on ‘Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones’ next week!
In the meantime…Enjoy!
The ‘Star Wars Film Review Season’ is underway!
Bye for now!
Tim. 🙂
