Basement News – November 2017

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I’ve enjoyed October this year! I hope you have too. The year 2017 has two months left! I’m amazed that time passes so quickly! There’s a lot to look forward to in November, especially on my ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog. Let’s see what’s in store and what exciting things are to come on my personal blog!

First of all, here is an advance notice. There will be no ‘Basement News’ blog post for December 2017. This will be replaced by my ‘2017 Advent Calendar’ in the lead-up to Christmas. The Advent Calendar will be in the form of a ‘Doctor Who’ story in 24 episodes called ‘The Five Doctors At Christmas’. This will feature the Second, Fourth, Fifth, Seventh and Tenth Doctors in it. Stay tuned for this adventure!

‘Doctor Who Timelines’ have been slow on my blog, I’ll admit. But I hope to add a brand new set of ‘Doctor Who Timelines’ in the run-up to Christmas. This will be for one of the Doctors who rarely gets talked about, yet deserves to have his own timeline. Can you have a guess who that Doctor is?

However, I’ve done two new ‘Doctor Who Timelines’ for ‘The Monsters Timelines Index’ on my blog. This includes a timeline for Davros, creator of the Daleks and a timeline for Sil, one of the Mentors.

I have been adding new ‘Doctor Who Reviews’ to my blog including ‘The Time Monster’, ‘Underworld’, ‘The Horns of Nimon’, ‘Time Crash’‘Voyage of the Damned’, ‘Partners in Crime’, ‘The Fires of Pompeii’ and ‘Planet of the Ood’ as shown on TV. I’ve also done a crossover review with Timelord007 on ‘The Invasion of Time’.

I’ve also added my reviews on ‘The Ninth Doctor Chronicles’ box set by Big Finish. These include the four stories ‘The Bleeding Heart’, ‘The Window on the Moor’, ‘The Other Side’ and ‘Retail Therapy’.

Check out my novelization/audiobook review on ‘The Daleks’ Master Plan: Part 1 – Mission to the Unknown’ by John Peel, which I’ve added to my TV review of ‘The Daleks’ Master Plan’. I hope to add my novelization/audiobook review on ‘The Daleks’ Master Plan: Part 2 – The Mutation of Time’ by John Peel soon.

For November, I’ll be adding new ‘Doctor Who Reviews’ on ‘The Curse of Peladon’, ‘Death to the Daleks’, ‘The Monster of Peladon’ and ‘Planet of the Spiders’ with Jon Pertwee.

I’m still re-watching ‘Star Trek: The Next Generation’. I’ve now added my ‘Star Trek’ reviews on Season 1 of ‘TNG’, which you can check out by clicking on the links for them. I look forward to completing my reviews on Season 2 of ‘Star Trek: TNG’ before I review Season 3.

I’ve started my ‘Star Wars Film Review Season’ on my blog. I’ve currently added half of my six film reviews in the ‘Star Wars’ saga to my blog. These include the three prequel movies including ‘The Phantom Menace’, ‘Attack of the Clones’ and ‘Revenge of the Sith’.

I’m looking forward to adding my reviews on ‘A New Hope’, ‘The Empire Strikes Back’ and ‘Return of the Jedi’ for November 2017. Will there be a crossover review by me and Timelord007 though?

I’ve got back into seeing some movies at the cinema including ‘The LEGO Ninjago Movie’ and ‘Thor: Ragnarok’. Check out my movie reviews on those. I’m looking forward to seeing movies at the cinema in November including ‘Murder on the Orient Express’, ‘Paddington 2’ and ‘Justice League’.

I enjoyed a little weekend holiday with my parents in Bath in October. Check out my Holiday Report – Bath (October 2017) blog post. I’m looking forward to a jazzy holiday week in Gunton Hall in Lowestoft, Suffolk this November as well as attending the ‘MCM Birmingham Comic Con’ and having another little holiday in Bath.

Check out my other blog posts including ‘Quick Audio Review – A Heart on Both Sides’; ‘Tim’s Film/TV Favourites’ – Music Presentation in a Newsletter’Quick DVD review – Winchester ’73’. and ‘Quick DVD review – Tom and Jerry: Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory’. There’s also my blog post on the latest new series ‘Doctor Who’ news about ‘The Crowded TARDIS Again’ with Jodie Whittaker’s Doctor for next year to check out!

There’s also ‘The Tenth Doctor Adventures’ Reviewed by ‘Everything and the TARDIS Console’. This is Elinor Ekman’s YouTube channel who has dedicated her latest YouTube reviews on ‘Technophobia’, ‘Time Reaver’ and ‘Death and the Queen’ with the Tenth Doctor and Donna for me!

That’s it for a preview of ‘Bradley’s Basement’ in November. I hope you’ll enjoy what’s to come on my blog for this month. Stay tuned for more updates and I hope November will be exciting for you before we get into December for the Christmas season!

Bye for now!

Tim. 🙂
