Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

And now we’ve come to the original trilogy of ‘Star Wars’ in the ‘Star Wars Film Review Season’! This week, it’s ‘Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope’.

We’re now right at the beginning where ‘Star Wars’ started with its first film made in 1977. In this ‘Star Wars’ movie, 19 years have passed and the Rebel Alliance is fighting against the Galactic Empire. But a new hope dawns when Luke Skywalker with Han Solo and Princess Leia enter the saga!

“Is this first ‘Star Wars’ movie considered the best? Let’s venture into…”

Darth Vader: (interrupts) “Are you sure you don’t want to review ‘Rogue One’ first, Master Bradley?”

(annoyed) “Oh for goodness sake!” (to Darth Vader) “Look, Darth! I told you last week! I’m not reviewing ‘Rogue One’ until I come to the sequel movies. This week, it’s ‘Star Wars: A New Hope’ and I’m sticking to it! And that’s final!”

Darth Vader: (mind-tricks on Tim) “You will review ‘Rogue One’…”

(interrupts) “No, no. That’s not going to work, Vader. You tried that last week. There’s nothing you can do to change my mind.”

Darth Vader: (challengingly) “Oh really?!”

Darth Vader pulls out his red lightsaber and switches it on, aiming it at Tim.

Darth Vader: (challengingly) “Would killing you be persuasive?”

(laughs) “Oh no, no! That won’t work either! Because I’ve got a lightsaber with me too!”

Tim pulls out his blue lightsaber and switches it on, aiming it at Darth Vader.

Darth Vader: (challengingly) “You dare to challenge me! A Sith Lord…”

“Shut up, Vader! Let’s fight!”

Tim screams like Han Solo and leaps up at Darth Vader.

Tim and Darth Vader fight with lightsabers.

Darth Vader: “You will not defeat me! I was but the learner once, now I am the master!”

“You look nothing like Roger Delgado!”

Darth Vader: “Keep your ‘Doctor Who’ jokes out of this!”

It’s fierce and energetic as Tim and Darth Vader fight. Tim manages to get out of the fighting for a moment and turns to his audience.

(to audience) “Sorry about this; everyone! I need to sort this out with Darth Vader. In the meantime, enjoy my latest ‘Star Wars’ review.”
