Holiday Report – Bath (November 2017)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Straight from my weekend at the ‘MCM Birmingham Comic Con’, I met up with my parents for a short break in Bath. I arrived late at night on the Sunday, but I was thankful for meeting up with my parents, stay overnight at the Bath Spa Hotel and very looking forward to enjoying a day out in Bath.

This was the third time I’d been to Bath this year! The first two times were in June and October 2017. Of course, I set one of my ‘Doctor Who’ stories in Bath called ‘The Austen Code’ with the Fifth Doctor, Nyssa and Billy. It was nice to have another break after enjoying the Birmingham weekend.

On the Monday, I took some photos in Bath with the digital camera as well as shopping around for Christmas gifts. I took photos of the Bath Spa Hotel and a sort-of Weeping Angel statue there. 😀 I also took some photos of Bath Abbey, the Roman Baths entrance and a Christmas tree in the square.

I also took a photo of some Paddington Bear merchandise in a shop window with ‘Doctor Who’ and ‘Star Wars’ merchandise in the background. 😀 My parents and I later had a meal at a ‘Friday’s’ restaurant. We all had cheesy garlic bread and cheeseburgers with chips that afternoon. Yummy! 😀

The highlight of the day though was my parents and I going to see the movie ‘Justice League’ at the local cinema in Bath. I had a great time seeing the movie! I’ll be posting a review on this movie soon!

It was nice to have that little break in Bath with my parents after enjoying my exciting weekend at the ‘MCM Birmingham Comic Con’. The weather wasn’t great as it rained for most of the afternoon. But I’m grateful I had this break to relax and enjoy Bath with my parents and to see ‘Justice League’.

Thanks for reading!

Bye for now!

Tim. 🙂
