Well, we’ve come to the end of my second complete year on ‘Bradley’s Basement’! I’m amazed it’s nearly the end of 2017! I’ve enjoyed this year as there have been so many highlights to look back on. As it’s New Year’s Eve today, let’s take a look back at some of those great moments on my blog!

‘Doctor Who – The 10 Christmas Specials’ on Blu-ray #1

My parents gave me a Blu-ray box set of ‘Doctor Who’ featuring the first 10 Christmas Specials from the new series. This was exciting, as we’ve had a new Blu-ray player recently and it seems like my family and I are getting into Blu-ray more. It was trial and error first, but we managed to get through.

We travel back in time today to Week 39 of ‘The Nyssa Challenge’. This was when it was the last story of the solo Fifth Doctor/Nyssa adventures in Season 19b and I reviewed ‘Masquerade’. This time however, it’s two more stories with the Fifth Doctor and Nyssa and they face those evil Daleks!

Today, it’s time to travel back in time to Week 21 of ‘The Nyssa Challenge’. This was when the Fifth Doctor and Nyssa faced the Cybermen a second time in the classic Big Finish audio drama, ‘Spare Parts’. This is considered by many to be one of the best and well-loved ‘Doctor Who’ audio dramas by fans.

At last! I’ve seen ‘Batman vs. Two-Face’. I’m so pleased, as I’ve really enjoyed this animated ‘Batman’ movie for Christmas 2017! This film is a great tribute to Adam West who played Batman in the 1960s TV series. I enjoyed every minute of it! You don’t want to miss out on this ‘Batman’ action-adventure!

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I had quite a nostalgic Christmas present from my parents this year. I enjoyed revisiting and re-watching ‘The Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh’. This was a Disney animated film released in 1977, featuring three memorable stories that were originally in 1966, 1968 and 1974. I remember watching these three stories when I was little.

I love ‘Shada’! Do you love ‘Shada’? Well, you must have had the 2017 DVD of ‘Shada’ for Christmas like I had. I enjoyed this new version of ‘Shada’ so much and now I’ve added my review to it on my blog with my other ‘Shada’ reviews on the 1992 VHS release and on the novelization by Gareth Roberts.

Peter Capaldi’s era has ended; Jodie Whittaker has begun and Steven Moffat has handed the reins of ‘Doctor Who’ to Chris Chibnall. Now it’s time for me to share with you my honest opinion about the Steven Moffat era of ‘Doctor Who’. This covers both the Matt Smith era and the Peter Capaldi era of ‘Doctor Who’ overall.
