Yeah, it’s been a while since I’ve reviewed a complete season of ‘Star Trek’, isn’t it? Apologies for the delay. I know I said I hoped to review the next ‘TNG’ season sooner than later. I’ve just been pretty busy lately. Thankfully though I have now finished all of my reviews on Season 4 of ‘Star Trek: TNG’.

For the past three birthdays, I’ve had a Jim Carrey movie from my best mate Stephen. In 2016, it was ‘Batman Forever’; in 2017, it was ‘The Mask’. This year, I had ‘The Cable Guy’ with Jim Carrey and Matthew Broderick. This was the ‘funny’ movie Stephen gave me in the three birthday gifts for 2018.

I’ve now added my reviews on Series 1 of the BBC comedy series, ‘Oh, Doctor Beeching!’ It’s been a good eight weeks for me to review each of the eight episodes of Series 1 in turn. I’m now looking forward to watching the rest of this quaint comedy series about a railway station with Series 2 next.

I’ve been kind of lucky with birthday presents from my best mate Stephen in the past three years. They’re usually three things of something I’m interested in. In 2016, it was ‘Batman Forever’, ‘Sgt. Bilko’ and ‘Fifth Element’. In 2017, it was ‘Blackadder’s Christmas Carol’, ‘The Mask’ and ‘Napoleon Dynamite’. For this year, I had three movies on DVD for my birthday from Stephen. I’m so lucky! :D.

To make up for my disappointment of ‘The Romans’ novelization of ‘Doctor Who’ I reviewed lately, I’ve decided to re-post my blog post for ‘The Myth Makers’ novelization by Donald Cotton. I consider that to be a better ‘Doctor Who’ novelization by Donald Cotton and found it so enjoyable, especially with the audiobook narration by Stephen Thorne. I read and listened to this one in September 2017.
