‘Star Trek: The Next Generation’ – Season 4 REVIEWED

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Yeah, it’s been a while since I’ve reviewed a complete season of ‘Star Trek’, isn’t it? Apologies for the delay. I know I said I hoped to review the next ‘TNG’ season sooner than later. I’ve just been pretty busy lately. Thankfully though I have now finished all of my reviews on Season 4 of ‘Star Trek: TNG’. Continue reading

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

And welcome once again to the ‘Marvel Cinematic Universe Film Review Season’!

Today we continue the ‘Marvel Cinematic Universe’ film series by looking into the second entry of Phase One. That is of course, ‘The Incredible Hulk’. Just to point out, there will be a delay for my review on the next movie in the series called ‘Iron Man 2’, but I hope I’ll post it on my blog very soon. Continue reading

Quick DVD Review – ‘The Cable Guy’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

For the past three birthdays, I’ve had a Jim Carrey movie from my best mate Stephen. In 2016, it was ‘Batman Forever’; in 2017, it was ‘The Mask’. This year, I had ‘The Cable Guy’ with Jim Carrey and Matthew Broderick. This was the ‘funny’ movie Stephen gave me in the three birthday gifts for 2018. Continue reading

‘Oh, Doctor Beeching!’ – Series 1 REVIEWED

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I’ve now added my reviews on Series 1 of the BBC comedy series, ‘Oh, Doctor Beeching!’ It’s been a good eight weeks for me to review each of the eight episodes of Series 1 in turn. I’m now looking forward to watching the rest of this quaint comedy series about a railway station with Series 2 next. Continue reading

Quick DVD Review – ‘Gravity’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I’ve been kind of lucky with birthday presents from my best mate Stephen in the past three years. They’re usually three things of something I’m interested in. In 2016, it was ‘Batman Forever’, ‘Sgt. Bilko’ and ‘Fifth Element’. In 2017, it was ‘Blackadder’s Christmas Carol’, ‘The Mask’ and ‘Napoleon Dynamite’. For this year, I had three movies on DVD for my birthday from Stephen. I’m so lucky! :D. Continue reading

Quick DVD Review – ‘Pudsey the Dog: The Movie’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Well, I’ve had quite a number of birthday presents this year. It’s quite a job to get through them when you’re doing so many other things. But thankfully I’ve been able to get through another one of my birthday presents and this turned out to be a movie…given to me by my cuddly toy dog, Cuddles. Continue reading

DVD Review – ‘Iron Man’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

And welcome to the ‘Marvel Cinematic Universe Film Review Season’!

At last! I’ve finally got round to start re-watching the ‘Marvel Cinematic Universe’ movies! I’ve been meaning to do these movies for some time. But for one reason or another, things got in the way and I was doing other projects. Thankfully I have seen the first ‘Iron Man’ film and now I can get started. Continue reading

Novelization/Audiobook review: ‘Doctor Who – The Myth Makers’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

To make up for my disappointment of ‘The Romans’ novelization of ‘Doctor Who’ I reviewed lately, I’ve decided to re-post my blog post for ‘The Myth Makers’ novelization by Donald Cotton. I consider that to be a better ‘Doctor Who’ novelization by Donald Cotton and found it so enjoyable, especially with the audiobook narration by Stephen Thorne. I read and listened to this one in September 2017. Continue reading

Novelization Review – ‘Doctor Who – The Romans’

(disappointed) Hello everyone. 😦

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley.

There are times when you come across a ‘Doctor Who’ novelization of one of your favourite stories and you hope that it’s going to be better than you expected when you read it. Unfortunately for this occasion, the ‘Doctor Who’ novelization I reviewed today turned out to be not quite what I hoped for. Continue reading
