Basement News – May 2018

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

My favourite month of the year has come at last! I’m so excited about May 2018! I’m looking forward to celebrate my birthday this year with a Frankie & Benny’s meal; watching ‘Avengers Infinity War’ at the cinema and seeing Sarah Sutton; Peter Davison and Janet Fielding at the ‘Folkestone Film, TV and Comic Con’ this month. It feels exciting and I look forward to experience it!

Are you wanting to find out what else is happening on my ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog this month? So am I! Let’s check out what’s in store for my blog in May. Ready? Here we go! This the preview here!

I made up for my mistake last time and added two new ‘Doctor Who Timelines’ to my blog. This is for two companions. The first is for Lady Christina de Souza who was with the Tenth Doctor and the second is for Anji Kapoor who was with the Eighth Doctor. Please feel free to check out these timelines in ‘The Companions’ Timelines Index’. More ‘Doctor Who Timelines’ will come pretty soon.

With ‘Doctor Who’ reviews, as well as adding them to my timelines, I’ve added all my reviews on Series 1 from the new series with Christopher Eccleston. I’ve also added all my reviews on Series 4 from the new series with David Tennant. I’ve also added my reviews on ‘The Seeds of Death’, ‘The Space Pirates’ and ‘The War Games’ with Patrick Troughton. Watch this space for announcements, as I’ll be adding reviews on ‘The Creature From The Pit’ and ‘Nightmare of Eden’ with Tom Baker next. Check out my Quick TV soundtrack review on ‘City of Death’.

I’ve added all of Season 3 of my ‘Fifth Doctor by Tim Bradley’ series this year including ‘Dawn of the Dwaxi’ and ‘The Stockbridge Terror’. Please feel free to check out these stories. In terms of the future, I will be adding a new Short Trip later this year as well as third Christmas episode with the Fifth Doctor, Nyssa and Billy. Stay tuned for more news on upcoming fan-fiction stories by me soon.

I’ve updated all my reviews on ‘The Lord of the Rings’ movies as well as ‘The Hobbit’ film trilogy on Blu-ray. By the way, I’ve re-named ‘The Lord of the Rings’ page and have called it Middle-Earth. I’m still in the process of updating my reviews on ‘The Lord of the Rings’ radio series and have yet to read ‘The Hobbit’ book. Check out my latest cinema experience of ‘The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring’. I greatly enjoyed it. I wonder if ‘The Two Towers’ will be at the cinema next.

I’ve added all of my reviews on the ‘Soldiers of Love’ CD series from MJTV productions to my blog. This series stars Nicholas Courtney, Gareth Thomas, Michael Keating, Anna Karen, Jacqueline Pearce and Sarah Sutton. Please feel free to check out; read and comment on my reviews on the CD series.

I’ve added some new pages to my blog. These include the Sci-Fi page where I’ve collected everything sci-fi related including ‘Star Trek’ and ‘Star Wars’ as well as adding my book review on ‘Robot’ by Peter Grimwade’. I’ve also added a brand-new page on the 60s children’s TV series, ‘Thunderbirds’.

I’ve also finished seeing the 1970s TV drama series, ‘Family At War’. Please feel free to check out my Quick DVD box set review on the series by clicking on the link for it. Very soon I’ll be starting re-watching and reviewing the TV drama series, ‘All Creatures Great and Small’. Stay tuned for an announcement.

As well as seeing ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ at the cinema, I’m looking forward to seeing ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ this month. Stay tuned for my reviews on those movies soon. Also stay tuned for my convention report on the ‘Folkestone Film, TV and Comic Con’ which come after I have been there.

For this month, I hope to get started on reviewing the ‘Marvel Cinematic Universe’ movie series as I’ve promised so many times before. Stay tuned for that. Also stay tuned for some upcoming reviews from ‘The World of Agatha Christie’ on the Miss Marple movie series starring Margaret Rutherford.

That’s all I’ve got to say regarding news and updates on ‘Bradley’s Basement’ in May and beyond. No doubt, there will be more exciting things to come on my blog. I maybe be going to Cadbury’s World in May. But for now, bring on ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ and the ‘Folkestone Film, TV and Comic Con’.

Thanks for reading!

Bye for now!

Tim. 🙂
