Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!
As we’re currently having a repeat of ‘The Austen Code’, the first story of ‘The Salvador Trilogy’ in ‘The Fifth Doctor by Tim Bradley’ series this month, I thought you’d like to know that there are some reviews by me on adaptations of Jane Austen’s works. This is included on The World of Jane Austen page by me on ‘Bradley’s Basement’. I encourage you to check out my reviews on these adaptations.
The reviews currently on my World of Jane Austen page so far are as follows. There’s a review for the 2005 film of ‘Pride & Prejudice’ with Kiera Knightley; the 1995 film of ‘Sense & Sensibility’ with Emma Thompson; the 2007 TV movie of ‘Mansfield Park’ with Billie Piper; the 2007 TV movie of ‘Northanger Abbey’ with Felicity Jones and the 2007 TV movie of ‘Persuasion’ with Sally Hawkins.
I hope to add more detailed DVD reviews on other TV and film adaptations of Jane Austen’s works. Please stay tuned for any announcements on new DVD reviews on adaptations of Jane Austen’s works.
