Hello everyone! 🙂
Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!
It’s the 1st of September today! I’ll soon be on my way for a holiday to Amroth in West Wales third time lucky this year. I hope to give a little holiday report on my week away to Amroth, West Wales, but not quite in the way as you would expect as I have done in previous holiday reports on Amroth, West Wales for 2016 and 2017.
Whilst I’m away on holiday to Amroth in West Wales, there will be some ‘Doctor Who’-related stuff posted during the week. Anyway, it’s September this month! I hope you’ve enjoyed what I’ve posted on my blog for August this year. Let’s see what we’ve got in store for September and beyond as we take a preview.
Regarding ‘Doctor Who’, I’ve added my reviews on ‘The Ark’ and ‘The Celestial Toymaker’ with William Hartnell’s Doctor as well as on ‘The Mutants’ with Jon Pertwee’s Doctor. This month, I’ll soon add reviews on the second half of Series 9 of ‘Doctor Who’ with Peter Capaldi as well as on the stories ‘The Seeds of Doom’ and ‘The Masque of Mandragora’ with Tom Baker. Stay tuned for announcements on these.
I’ve finished reading/listening to the Target novelizations/audiobooks on four new series ‘Doctor Who’ stories. The latest ones have been on ‘The Day of the Doctor’ and ‘Twice Upon A Time’. There will also be some brand-new ‘Doctor Who Timelines’ coming soon at the end of September, but that’s a teaser.
The repeat season of ‘The Salvador Trilogy’ has finished. But there are still more ‘Fifth Doctor by Tim Bradley’ stories on my blog to enjoy and more will be coming soon in the future. The new Short Trip called ‘Fred and the Doctor’ with the Sixth Doctor will be released this month pretty soon. Stay tuned!
It’ll soon be the third year anniversary for my ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog. I’ll certainly be celebrating something for that. I’m looking forward to seeing Series 11 of ‘Doctor Who’, starring Jodie Whittaker, Bradley Walsh, Tosin Cole and Mandip Gip sometime soon. I hope to share brief thoughts on each of the ten episodes on ‘Bradley’s Basement’ as they’ll be shown sometime on TV around October.
I will also be making a start on reviewing the second phase of the ‘Marvel Cinematic Universe’ sometime on my blog. This will include DVD reviews on the films ‘Iron Man 3’, ‘Thor: The Dark World’, ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’, ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’, ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ and ‘Ant-Man’. Stay tuned for when we start the ‘Marvel Cinematic Universe Film Review Season 2’ very soon.
I’ve nearly finished my reviews on Season 5 of ‘Star Trek: The Next Generation’, which I know has been a long time coming. I’ll post an announcement to let you know when I have completed my reviews on Season 5 on ‘TNG’ sometime soon. I hope I will continue to review the rest of the ‘TNG’ series in 2018.
I’m still looking forward to the ‘Destination: Star Trek’ convention at the NEC in Birmingham sometime soon in October this year. There’s still no news of a ‘Doctor Who’ convention for me to attend, but I remain patient and also live in hope that I’ll see Peter Davison and Sarah Sutton at another convention.
There will be a new page coming to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ this month. This will be on ‘The Man From U.N.C.L.E.’ spy series as I’m currently watching and reviewing five feature films based on that series from a 3-disc DVD collection. Stay tuned for news and find out what my thoughts are on these movies.
Check out my latest movie reviews on ‘Christopher Robin’ and ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp’. I don’t have any movies to look forward to at the cinema in September, but I do have some planned for the next few months. I hope to see the movies ‘Venom’, ‘Johnny English Strikes Again’, ‘Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald’, ‘Mary Poppins Returns’ and maybe ‘Aquaman’.
That’s about all I’ve got to say regarding ‘Basement News’ on my blog for September and beyond. I pray and hope there’ll be more exciting stuff to look forward to and I’m sure you’ll enjoy hearing my views on movies; ‘Doctor Who’; ‘Star Trek’; holiday and day trips; conventions; etc., towards the end of the year.
Thanks for reading!
Bye for now!
