It’s Day 5 of ‘Bradley’s Basement’s Advent Calendar 2018.
Today I’m talking about my parents who I love.
Here is a photo of me with my parents at the Palladino’s restaurant in Gabalfa, Cardiff. My parents and I often make it a tradition to have an evening-out dinner meal before Christmas time. The Palladino’s restaurant is a place where you can have Italian foods like pizza and pasta which we enjoy.
I can’t remember what I had for my meal at the Palladino’s at the time from December 2008, but I’m sure it must have been a pizza meal. Bit unusual to have compared to the traditional Christmas roast turkey or chicken meal. But then again, I tend to have a pizza meal around Christmas time anyway. 😀
Usually my parents and I would go for a carvery at a Toby’s carvery restaurant or something to make for a traditional Christmas roast turkey or chicken meal should we ever want one. But for this occasion back in December 2008, we decided to go for this Italian style of dinner at the Palladino’s for a change.
This was on the night before we went on a day trip to Bath on the 6th of December, I believe. I’m also reminded of a pizza I had at a Frankie & Benny’s restaurant before my Mum and I saw ‘Home Alone’ at the cinema in 2017. But I digress. 😀 A waiter at the restaurant took a photo of us three together here.
I enjoy spending time with my parents whenever we go for a restaurant meal especially at Christmas. I’m sure we’ll be going for another restaurant meal sometime soon before Christmas time this year. Where it will be, I’m not sure yet. But I’m sure it’ll be very enjoyable to spend time with my family.
