Audio Review – ‘The Mistpuddle Murders’ (Doctor Who)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s New Year’s Day today for 2019! I’m getting a sense of déjà vu here as we begin this year with a review on a Short Trip audio by Big Finish, just like I did with ‘A Heart on Both Sides’ at the beginning of 2018. Today, it’s time for my review on ‘The Mistpuddle Murders’ with Nyssa, Tegan and the Fifth Doctor.

The story is read by Sarah Sutton. This is quite an unusual ‘Doctor Who’ story as it features a mixture of Agatha Christie and Beatrix Potter where Nyssa with Tegan’s help investigates a murder mystery in an English village populated by talking woodland animals. Yeah! I know how pretty bizarre that sounds!

Please feel free to check out; read and comment on my review for ‘The Mistpuddle Murders’. You can purchase ‘The Mistpuddle Murders’ only as a download from the Big Finish website.

Enjoy! 🙂

Stay tuned tomorrow for my last ‘Nyssa Challenge’ review for this mini-review season on the novelization/audiobook of ‘Doctor Who – Mawdryn Undead’ by Peter Grimwade, read by David Collings.

Bye for now!

Tim. 🙂
