Happy New Year From ‘Bradley’s Basement’ 2019

Happy New Year everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

2018 is gone and we’re now in the year 2019! Wow! It feels like yesterday that 2017 was gone and we were in the year 2018. I’m looking forward to what’s in store for 2019 on my blog. There’s bound to be new reviews and new exciting stuff to happen whether it’d be about conventions, movies, holidays or day trips.

Let me share with you what will be happening for me in 2019 as we speak. Today on New Year’s Day, I’m looking forward to seeing the 2019 New Year’s Day Special of ‘Doctor Who’ called ‘Resolution’ starring Jodie Whittaker as the Thirteenth Doctor, Bradley Walsh as Graham, Tosin Cole as Ryan and Mandip Gill as Yaz. I’m looking forward to doing a TV review on the special episode soon. Stay tuned!

I am disappointed that Series 12 of ‘Doctor Who’ won’t return to TV screens in the autumn of 2019 and will instead return in early 2020. But I know how to be patient as I have other ‘Doctor Who’ things to occupy my time and I’ll look forward to when Jodie Whittaker’s Doctor returns in her second season.

I’m looking forward to adding a new ‘Doctor Who’ fan-fiction story to my blog in ‘The Fifth Doctor by Tim Bradley’ series called ‘City of Monsters’. This will feature the Fifth Doctor, Nyssa and Billy and the return of Jo Jones née Grant. Check out my latest News Update post to find out more details about this.

I also hope to add two new short stories to my ‘Short Trips by Tim Bradley’ collection this year. Whether one or two of them will feature the Fifth Doctor, Nyssa and Billy is uncertain. Stay tuned! There’s bound to be an exciting announcement about a story by me published in an anthology in 2019. 😀

There will be more ‘Doctor Who Timelines’ posted on my blog soon as well as some updated ones. Please feel free to check out my current ‘Doctor Who Timelines’ and send me feedback to improve on them. I will also be posting more ‘Doctor Who’ reviews on my blog on TV stories and Big Finish audios. Check out my latest News Update to find out more about what ‘Doctor Who’ reviews there will be in early 2019..

Regarding conventions, I’m really excited as I’ll be going to some this year. The first one will be at the ‘Science of the Time Lords’ event in Leicester at the end of January. It will have special guests like Peter Davsion, Colin Baker, Sylvester McCoy, Paul McGann, Sarah Sutton, Janet Fielding, Katy Manning, Louise Jameson, etc.

In terms of movies at the cinema, I’m looking forward to seeing films like ‘Captain Marvel’ and ‘Avengers: Endgame’ in the ‘Marvel Cinematic Universe’ series. As I reviewed Phases One and Two of the series in 2018, I look forward to reviewing the five movies in the ‘Phase Three – Part One’ set.

I’m also looking forward to seeing movies like ‘The LEGO Movie 2’ and ‘Toy Story 4’ at the cinema. There are some Disney live-action remakes coming out this year including ‘Dumbo’, ‘Aladdin’ and ‘The Lion King’. Whether I’ll see these Disney live-action remakes is another matter as it isn’t a high priority.

I’m looking forward to doing reviews on the ‘Star Trek’ reboot trilogy with Timelord007 sometime early this year. I also hope to tackle reviewing the ‘Star Cops’ series both in TV form and in the Big Finish audios. I am also looking forward to reviewing the movie novelization of the 1989 ‘Batman’ film.

I’m hoping 2019 will be a better year compared to 2018. Whatever else is in store for me this year, I hope to keep you all who follow my blog entertained. Thank you to those who continue to support my blog and I’m sure there will be many more delightful surprises coming soon as the year progresses.

I wish you all a very Happy New Year for 2019!

Here’s to the future and take care!

Thanks for reading!

Bye for now!

Tim. 🙂
