CD Reviews – ‘Star Cops: Mother Earth – Part 1’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

After reviewing the short-lived ‘Star Cops’ TV series on my blog, I’ve been able to get onto listening to the Big Finish audios! Today, I’ve added my reviews on the first four episodes of ‘Mother Earth’, featured in the first ‘Star Cops’ CD box set produced by Big Finish. I’m glad I’ve reviewed the episodes.

The new ‘Star Cops’ audio series by Big Finish features the return of David Calder as Nathan Spring; Trevor Cooper as Colin Devis and Linda Newton as Pal Kenzy from the TV series. There are also two new cast members joining the regulars – Rakhee Thakrar as Priya Basu and Philip Olivier as Paul Bailey.

The CD box set contains the four episodes as follows. They are ‘One of Our Cops Is Missing’ by Andrew Smith; ‘Tranquility and Other Illusions’ by Ian Potter; ‘Lockdown’ by Christopher Hatherall and ‘The Thousand Ton Bomb’ by Guy Adams.

Please feel free to check out, read and comment on my reviews for these four episodes by clicking on the links for them.

I’m looking forward to listening to and reviewing the second lot of ‘Star Cops’ audios in the ‘Mother Earth’ saga by Big Finish. The final episode of ‘Mother Earth’ called ‘Hostage’ features Sarah Sutton (who plays Nyssa in ‘Doctor Who’) as a guest star. I can’t wait to hear Sarah in a ‘Star Cops’ episode. 🙂

You can purchase the ‘Star Cops: Mother Earth – Part 1’ CD box set or as download from Amazon.co.uk; Amazon.com and/or the Big Finish website.

Enjoy! 🙂

Bye for now!

Tim. 🙂
