This is a ‘Doctor Who’ episode about pirates that could’ve easily ended up being ‘Treasure Island’ with aliens. But it’s not, it’s ‘The Curse of the Black Spot’ instead. This episode features Matt Smith’s Doctor, Amy and Rory meeting Hugh Bonnerville as pirate Captain Avery whose crew gets attacked by a female siren.
