Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!
I didn’t expect this to come out so soon! There’s a new anthology release by the Divergent Wordsmiths called ‘The Paul Spragg ReCollections’! This is to celebrate the 20th anniversary of ‘Doctor Who’ @ Big Finish and honour the memory of the dear Paul Spragg, who was the producer’s assistant at Big Finish.
I’m so pleased to be a part of this! As I’m sure many of you know, Big Finish do an annual writing competition called ‘The Paul Spragg Memorial Short Trip Opportunity’. I’ve contributed entries to the competition in the past and I’m pleased to say that two of my stories are in this new anthology release.
This includes a new Fifth Doctor adventure called ‘The Crimson Lion’ featuring the Fifth Doctor, Nyssa and Tegan as well as a new Tenth Doctor adventure called ‘The Popiz’ featuring the Tenth Doctor, Donna and Clara. As well as the main book cover, there are also covers for my stories in this collection.
I’m so glad to see these covers for my stories, done so well by Phil Johnson. There are also other stories by other writers including Chris Taylor, A F J Kernow, James D. Cooke and Andrew Hsieh. The stories feature the Sixth, Eighth and Tenth Doctors. There’s also an introduction by Ian Atkins, former producer of the ‘Doctor Who – Short Trips’ by Big Finish to ‘The Paul Spragg ReCollections’ anthology.
There’s also an Appendix featured at the end of the anthology containing a collection of original synopsises and opening excerpts to the stories, including my own for ‘The Crimson Lion’ and ‘The Popiz’. I’m thankful to the Divergent Wordsmiths in allowing me to contribute my two stories for this special anthology. 🙂
