Book Reviews – ‘Doctor Who Annual 1983’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

And welcome back to ‘The Nyssa Challenge’! Yes, that’s right! It’s that time again to do another mini-season of ‘Doctor Who’ reviews on the latest Nyssa stories. This will be for the Christmas week in 2019 leading into the New Year of 2020. The stories reviewed will be mostly short story collections and Big Finish audios. They will include the audios that were released from September to November 2019.

To start off this mini ‘Nyssa Challenge’ review season, we’re going to take a look at the 1983 ‘Doctor Who Annual’. This includes short stories featuring the Fifth Doctor, Nyssa and Tegan as well as a comic book story featuring the Fifth Doctor, Nyssa, Tegan and Adric. They take place in the Season 19 period.

Please feel free to check out; read and comment on my reviews for the 1983 ‘Doctor Who Annual’ stories including ‘Danger Down Below’; ‘The God Machine’; ‘The Armageddon Chrysalis’; ‘On the Planet Isopterus’; ‘The Haven’; ‘The Penalty’ and ‘Night Flight To Nowhere’.

You can purchase the 1983 ‘Doctor Who Annual’ from Amazon.co.uk or Amazon.com. The 1983 ‘Doctor Who Annual’ is also currently available as a PDF on the DVDs for ‘Time-Flight’ and ‘Arc of Infinity’.

Enjoy! 🙂

Stay tuned for my CD reviews on ‘The Doctor Who Audio Annual’ later on today.

Also stay tuned tomorrow for my review on ‘The Constant Doctor’ featured in ‘The Scientific Secrets of Doctor Who’ anthology book.

Bye for now!

Tim. 🙂
