Book Review – ‘Spider-Man: Hostile Takeover’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I’m about to check out the ‘Spider-Man’ PS4 game on YouTube. But before that, I decided to read the prequel novel ‘Spider-Man: Hostile Takeover’ by David Liss. I greatly enjoyed reading the book. It’s a brilliant ‘Spider-Man’ novel to tie into the game as well as being a pretty good standalone ‘Spidey’ story. Continue reading

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I’ve been revisiting the ‘Hook’ film recently with my parents. Please feel free to check out my review on that as well as my review on the Disney animated film of ‘Peter Pan’. I’ve also added my brand-new review on the 2003 ‘Peter Pan’ movie today! Remember that film? I certainly remember seeing it at the cinema. Continue reading

TV Review – ‘Call the Midwife’, Series 9, Episode 4

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

After the excitement of the latest ‘Doctor Who’ episode ‘Fugitive of the Judoon’ on the same Sunday evening, I didn’t think I’d be able to settle down and enjoy watching the latest ‘Call the Midwife’ episode. Thankfully I did see it and I hope to do my best in sharing what I thought of the latest episode. Continue reading

New Comedy Page – ‘The Brittas Empire’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I’ve added a new comedy page to my blog on the BBC TV sitcom series called ‘The Brittas Empire’. The series is about an odious leisure centre manager in Whitbury Newtown. It stars Chris Barrie as Gordon Brittas and Pippa Haywood as his wife Helen. I’m pleased I’m revisiting the series on DVD for my blog. Continue reading

TV Review – ‘Fugitive of the Judoon’ (Doctor Who)

SPOILERS ALERT!!!

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and WHAT THE HECK’S GOING ON?!!!

Okay, okay, I’m sorry. I shouldn’t be jumping ahead of myself here, but I’ve seen the most insane ‘Doctor Who’ episode ever on TV! There were twists, turns and surprises in every corner of this episode. I expected this to be a mundane Judoon TV episode with the Thirteenth Doctor and her team. Continue reading

CD Review – ‘Rose Tyler: The Dimension Cannon’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I’ve reviewed ‘Rose Tyler: The Dimension Cannon’, the audio spin-off from new series ‘Doctor Who’ by Big Finish. It stars Billie Piper, Camille Coduri, Shaun Dingwall and Mark Benton. I’ve enjoyed this four-episode spin-off series. It was superb to hear Rose Tyler again along with Jackie, Pete and Clive. Continue reading

TV Review – ‘Grantchester’, Series 5, Episode 3

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

So far, I’ve enjoyed the latest series of ‘Grantchester’ and I’m happy to be watching it on Friday nights on ITV1. With that said, I can’t deny there are a number of things about the series that baffle and astonish me, especially with regards to character development. Hopefully things will be explored further. 🙂 Continue reading

Movie Review – ‘Little Women’ (2019)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

My parents and I went to see the latest ‘Little Women’ film at the cinema. This is the 2019 version, which was released on Boxing Day in December in the UK last year. I did wonder whether we would see this new film considering a previous ‘Little Women’ film had been made back in 1994. In the end, we did see it. 🙂 Continue reading

TV Review – ‘Call the Midwife’, Series 9, Episode 3

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It was another enjoyable Sunday evening with ‘Doctor Who’ and ‘Call the Midwife’ recently. The latest ‘Call the Midwife’ episode I’ve seen had some solid character drama again. It was also intriguing to explore medical practices being handled in the 1960s. That would be different compared to nowadays. Continue reading
