Happy New Year From ‘Bradley’s Basement’ 2020

Happy New Year everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

2019 has past! How sad is that? I miss that year. It was a good one for me. Now it’s time to enter into a decade with the 2020s. I wonder what the first year 2020 will be like. What exciting surprises will be in store? What ‘Doctor Who’ stories (TV, book and audio) will I see/hear/read? What movies will I see? Will I attend any conventions? Will I go on any holidays and day trips this year? I’m looking forward to finding out.

For now, let me share with you what will be happening for me in 2020 as far as I know. New Year’s Day will be the start of Series 12 of ‘Doctor Who’, starring Jodie Whittaker, Bradley Walsh, Tosin Cole and Mandip Gill. Today is the first episode of a two-part story called ‘Spyfall’. I’m looking forward to seeing it as well as the rest of the season. I hope to share quick reviews on each episode.

I also will be seeing Series 9 of ‘Call the Midwife’ with my parents. We’ll probably watch ‘Doctor Who’ and ‘Call the Midwife’ on Sunday evenings via BBC iPlayer. Whether it’ll be with Domino’s Pizza each night, I don’t know. 😀 I also will be sharing quick reviews on each ‘Call the Midwife’ episode. 🙂

I’m planning to add a set of brand-new ‘Fifth Doctor’ adventures to my blog featuring the Fifth Doctor, Nyssa and Billy. I can say that the new set of ‘Fifth Doctor’ adventures will be called ‘The Coins of Deno’. I can’t say anymore than that. I’m still getting things ready for that set of stories. I hope to add two new ‘Short Trips’ to my blog and extra surprises with my ‘Doctor Who’ storytelling.

I’m also adding a brand-new collection of ‘Doctor Who’ stories to my blog in a new fan-fiction series called ‘Zorbius’! This will include stories featuring each of the TV Doctors from William Hartnell to Jodie Whittaker and will include John Hurt’s War Doctor too. The first story of the ‘Zorbius’ series is called ‘The Zondor Robbers’ featuring the First Doctor, Ian, Barbara and Susan. Stay tuned later on. 🙂

I’ll still be updating my ‘Doctor Who Timelines’ throughout the New Year with new stories produced by Big Finish, BBC Books, etc. I hope to add updated reviews to current ‘Doctor Who’ stories I’ve reviewed based on the Season 26 Blu-ray box set with Sylvester McCoy and Sophie Aldred as well as animated versions of ‘The Faceless Ones’ and ‘Fury From The Deep’. Stay tuned for announcements.

At present, I don’t have any conventions to attend this year. I hope I will be attending a convention soon in 2020. I would like to see Sarah Sutton and Peter Davison again. I wait patiently for news. My parents and I are doing another Amroth holiday, but I won’t be sharing a convention report on that.

In terms of movies at the cinema, I hope to see ‘Spies In Disguise’ at the cinema as well as ‘Black Widow’, the first film of Phase Four of the ‘Marvel Cinematic Universe’ series. I also hope to see the new ‘Sonic the Hedgehog’ movie, starring James Marsden and Jim Carrey and I hope to see ‘Peter Rabbit 2’ at the cinema.

There will be a special Easter review season to look forward to in 2020 which I prepared far back in mid-2019. 😀 I’ve also got some Christmas reviews ready for December 2020 and I’m looking forward to doing some more ‘Nyssa Challenge’ reviews in 2020. It’s a long way off, but it’s worth waiting for. 🙂

At present, 2020 is a mystery of a year to me. I don’t know what it’ll entail, but I’m sure there’ll be plenty of surprises to look forward to. Hopefully they’ll be pleasant surprises. Thanks again to everyone who has supported my blog these past four years. I hope the fifth full year will be amazing.

I wish you all a very Happy New Year for 2020!

Here’s to the future and take care!

Thanks for reading!

Bye for now!

Tim. 🙂
