I’m glad I got four ‘Doctors’ DVDs from the ‘Myth Makers’ series for my birthday this year from my parents. I’ve greatly enjoyed ‘The Doctors: The William Hartnell Years’, ‘The Doctors: The Pat Troughton Years’ and recently ‘The Doctors: The Tom Baker Years’. I hope soon I’ll get ‘The Doctors: The Peter Davison Years’ DVD later this year and hopefully more ‘Myth Maker’ interviews on DVD. 🙂

This is a four-part ‘Doctor Who’ Big Finish audio adventure by Guy Adams, starring Sylvester McCoy as the Seventh Doctor and Sophie Aldred as Ace with Mark Bonnar as the Eleven and Carolyn Pickles as Cardinal Ollistra. Will I find this audio adventure fascinating enough?

After enjoying ‘The Doctors: The William Hartnell Years’ DVD, I was looking forward to seeing the next ‘Myth Makers’ compilation DVD I had for my birthday this year. I’ve now seen ‘The Doctors: The Pat Troughton Years’! Or should it be ‘The Doctors: The Patrick Troughton Years’? Same thing, I suppose. Anyway, I had a good time watching this 2-disc DVD that featured interviews with the stars.

As I’m currently not going to conventions because of the coronavirus pandemic and with the UK being in lockdown – please keep safe – I’m grateful to my parents that I had four ‘Myth Makers’ DVD compilations of ‘Doctor Who’ interviews for my birthday back in May. They’re a close thing to be at a convention. They may have been done in the 1980s and the 1990s, but they’re enjoyable to watch.

This has been enjoyable series to revisit and is a unique take on my favourite Marvel superhero.
