Hello everyone! 🙂
Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!
We’ve come to the end of my updated reviews on Season 14 of ‘Doctor Who’ with Tom Baker. I hope you’ve enjoyed my updated reviews on the Season 14 stories. I’ve certainly enjoyed revisiting them in the Season 14 Blu-ray box set during the lockdown period – please keep safe. Today, we take a look at the season finale to Season 14 of ‘Doctor Who’, which is ‘The Talons of Weng-Chiang’.
The story features Tom Baker’s Doctor with Louise Jameson as Leela. They visit Victorian London and they meet Christopher Benjamin as Henry Gordon Jago and Trevor Baxter as Professor Litefoot for the first time. I’ve enjoyed the new Blu-ray special features for ‘The Talons of Weng-Chiang’, including the ‘Behind The Sofa’ item with Tom Baker, Louise Jameson, Philip Hinchcliffe, Peter Purves and Sophie Aldred as well as the ‘Whose Doctor Who Revisited’ documentary with Toby Hadoke.
Please feel free to check out; read and comment on my updated review for ‘The Talons of Weng-Chiang’ by clicking on the link for it. This contains a review on the TV story.
You can purchase ‘Doctor Who – The Collection – Season 14’ on Blu-ray either from Amazon.co.uk or Amazon.com.
Enjoy!
Bye for now!
Tim. 🙂
