CD Reviews – ‘The Twelfth Doctor Chronicles’ (Doctor Who)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Since its release in February 2020, I’ve been able to check out and review the four stories in ‘The Twelfth Doctor Chronicles’, the latest in ‘The Doctor Chronicles’ range of CD box sets in new series ‘Doctor Who’ by Big Finish. I’ve enjoyed ‘The Twelfth Doctor Chronicles’ and I’m glad that I’ve reviewed them recently.

This CD box set contains four audio stories with the Twelfth Doctor. These include ‘The Charge of the Night Brigade’ by David Llewellyn; ‘War Wounds’ by Mark Wright; ‘Distant Voices’ by Lizbeth Myles and ‘Field Trip’ by Una McCormack.

All four audio stories are narrated by Jacob Dudman who also plays the Twelfth Doctor in them. The CD box set also features Samuel Anderson and Ingrid Oliver. Please  feel free to check out, read and comment on my reviews for these four stories by clicking on the links for them.

At present, I’ve got a Fifth Doctor audio adventure to check which should be ‘Singularity’ with Peter Davison and Mark Strickson. After that, I hope to check out some Sixth Doctor, Flip and Constance stories out as well as making a start on reviewing some stories for the upcoming ‘Nyssa Challenge’ mini-review season in December 2020. Stay tuned for announcements!

You can purchase ‘The Twelfth Doctor Chronicles’ CD box set from Amazon.co.uk; Amazon.com or the Big Finish website.

Enjoy! 🙂

Bye for now!

Tim. 🙂
