And welcome back to the ‘Mission: Impossible Film Review Season’!!!!!
It’s time to take a look at the first ‘Mission: Impossible’ movie to have any involvement from J. J. Abrams – ‘Mission: Impossible III’. This film was released in 2006, a year after 2005’s ‘War of the Worlds’ was made. The film stars Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt with J. J. Abrams as its director and with the script by J. J. Abrams, Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci.
The film also stars Philip Seymour Hoffman, Ving Rhames, Billy Crudup, Michelle Monaghan, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Keri Russell, Maggie Q and Laurence Fishburne. After finding the first ‘Mission: Impossible’ film underwhelming and ‘Mission: Impossible 2’ bizarre, will I find value in ‘M:I-III’?
