Hello everyone! 🙂
Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!
I’ve seen one episode of ‘The Muppets’ 2015 series recently. I’m currently enjoying the series and I look forward to seeing an episode each week. I saw this episode as well as the original ‘Muppets’ movie from 1979. I hope to share my thoughts on that soon. Here are my thoughts on this episode. 🙂
In ‘Walk the Swine’; Miss Piggy has a feud with Reese Witherspoon. She beat her out for the lead female role in the movie ‘Walk the Line’. I’ve not seen that movie yet, but I can’t imagine Miss Piggy playing opposite Joaquin Phoenix in that movie. I wouldn’t want Miss Piggy to be in that ‘Joker’ film.
The feud hits a new level when both volunteer for Habitat for Humanity. This involves some construction work which does go out of hand. Miss Piggy also tries to out-beat Reese Witherspoon for saying sorry in a musical dance number at the end. I think that was pretty extravagant indeed. 😀
It’s funny when Kermit tries to prevent the tensions going on between Miss Piggy and Reese Witherspoon, but he’s always unsuccessful and she wants to have her own way. I wonder if Miss Piggy was always like this. She must’ve been a sweet pig one time before she got very aggressive. 😀
Fozzie also continues to have a relationship with Riki Lindhorne as Becky. Oh he’s still seeing her? I’m glad that wasn’t forgotten about since she made her debut in ‘The Muppets’ 2015 series’ first episode. But the relationship hits a snag when Fozzie starts telling rather unfunny jokes about her. 😐
Becky gets her own back by telling unfunny jokes about him. I wouldn’t like that occur in a relationship with a girlfriend if I had one. Rizzo also ends up causing car trouble for Scooter by accidentally crashing into him. I don’t think this subplot went anyway and it was not that interesting.
I’m happy I’ve seen this episode of ‘The Muppets’ 2015 TV series. It was very entertaining and helped to relax during one evening. I look forward to watching the next ‘Muppets’ (2015) episode this coming week. I’ll probably watch that before a Disney film as well as a ‘Star Wars’ movie on Disney+.
By the way, Season 2 of ‘The Mandalorian’ starts at the end of this week on Disney+! 😀
Thanks for reading!
Bye for now!
