‘Bradley’s Basement’s Advent Calendar 2020 begins tomorrow!

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog where Christmas time is served! And I’m Tim Bradley!

2020 hasn’t been a very good year for most of us. This December, I hope to keep you all entertained with the Christmas items I plan to share this month. And as you can see, I’ve uploaded a new Christmas banner/wallpaper for my blog, posting it at the end of November before December starts!

I’m looking forward to sharing my latest ‘Nyssa Challenge’ mini-review season this year from December 2020 to January 2021. Before that happens though, tomorrow will be the start of my ‘Bradley’s Basement’s Advent Calendar in December 2020. For this year’s advent calendar from the 1st to the 24th of December, I’ll be sharing Christmas photos of Santa Cuddles enjoying some of his (and my) favourite things, whether it’d be on DVD, Blu-ray, book, audio, etc.

There won’t be a ‘Basement News’ blog post for December 2020, as was the case for previous years. Let me make that up to you by giving you a preview of what will happen on ‘Bradley’s Basement’ in December this year and beyond. Like I said before, the new ‘Nyssa Challenge’ mini-review season will be coming after the ‘Bradley’s Basement’s Advent Calendar has ended. This will include reviews on the latest Big Finish audios featuring Nyssa as well as some short story collections and some updated reviews.

I’ll be sharing five Christmassy-related reviews on my blog in the next four weeks leading up to the 25th of December. This will include reviews on a Disney collection of shorts, a ‘Doctor Who’ audio anthology by Big Finish and three movies. I’ll also be preparing for 2021’s Christmas review season. 🙂

The ‘Unbound Imaginings: Volume 2’ anthology by the Divergent Wordsmiths will be available to read on the 2nd of December 2020. I’ll share a blog post to confirm its release pretty soon. Stay tuned for the release of the last two ‘Zorbius’ stories on my blog, including ‘The Saviour of the Daleks’ featuring the Twelfth Doctor and Bill and ‘The Two Salvadors’ featuring the Thirteenth Doctor, Graham, Ryan and Yaz.

The ‘March of the Thirteenth Doctor’ marathon review season for March 2021 is still being prepared as we speak. I’m looking forward to when we get to Christmas time and ‘Revolution of the Daleks’ starring Jodie Whittaker is transmitted on TV on New Year’s Day 2021. I’m also looking forward to the upcoming ‘Call the Midwife’ Christmas Special, featuring special guest star Peter Davison, as well as the upcoming 2020’s ‘All Creature Great and Small’ Christmas Special.

There won’t be any movie reviews based on experiences at the cinemas since I’ve pledged not to go back to cinemas until the current Covid-19 pandemic is over – please keep safe. I hope to keep doing quick reviews on movies being shown on Disney+ or Google Play in December. I’m still watching ‘The Mandalorian’, Season 2 on Disney+ and my reviews on the remaining episodes will be shared in December.

I’ll stop here now concerning news on ‘Bradley’s Basement’. Stay tuned for what’s to come on my blog as I’m sure it’ll be very exciting during this festive time, even though restrictions are still in place.

Enjoy my new advent calendar which starts tomorrow! 😀

Thanks for reading!

Bye for now!

Tim. 🙂
