Day 3 – Bradley’s Basement’s Advent Calendar 2020

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s Day 3 of ‘Bradley’s Basement’s Advent Calendar 2020’.

There’s a character Santa Cuddles likes in this comedy TV series?

That character happens to be Mackintosh the dog in ‘Jeeves & Wooster’, starring Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie. 😀 Yeah! Mackintosh has only been in a small amount of episodes, but he’s made an impact on Cuddles. He looks forward to seeing him. He especially loves Series 1, Episode 2 with him.

Usually, I make it a tradition to watch ‘Jeeves & Wooster’ every Christmas. Sometimes I might do that with a full breakfast one day in the lead-up to Christmas. 😀 I haven’t really done that lately. Perhaps I might watch ‘Jeeves & Wooster’ again this Christmas. Not sure on the ‘full breakfast day’. 😀

I must get around to updating more reviews on the ‘Jeeves & Wooster’ series. I managed to update my reviews on Series 1 last year. I love seeing ‘Jeeves & Wooster’ whenever I get a chance to see it on DVD. Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie are fantastic playing Jeeves and Bertie Wooster throughout. 🙂

I hope I’ll be able to get to review the original books by P.G. Wodehouse featuring ‘Jeeves & Wooster’ someday. I have a few of the books at home including ‘The Code of the Woosters’ and the short stories in ‘The World of Jeeves’ anthology I’ve got. I’ve also to check out the ‘J&W’ radio episodes. 😀

That features Richard Briers and Michael Horden in them, I believe. Another favourite episode of Cuddles is when Sir Roderick and Lady Glossop are ‘attacked’ by cats in Bertie’s flat in Series 1, Episode 1. If you fancy some P.G. Wodehouse this Christmas, the ‘J&W’ TV show can provide that. 🙂

Cuddles:‘Jeeves & Wooster’ has the man who got killed off in ‘Doctor Who’ recently. He’s okay being with the man who was in ‘Stuart Little’.”

Thanks for reading!

Check out what Day 3 of my ‘Bradley’s Basement Advent Calendars’ for 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 were about!

Bye for now!

Tim. 🙂
