Hello everyone! 🙂
Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!
It’s Day 23 of ‘Bradley’s Basement’s Advent Calendar 2020.
Want two dog movie trilogies at Christmas time?
Here’s Santa Cuddles with two DVD collections that I’ve had the pleasure of reviewing over two Christmas periods. The first is the ‘Santa Paws’ trilogy which contains the films ‘The Search For Santa Paws’, ‘Santa Paws 2: The Santa Pups’ and ‘Santa Buddies’. All three movies are from Disney. 🙂
The second collection is ‘The Dog Who Saved Christmas Collection’, containing the films ‘The Dog Who Saved Christmas’, ‘The Dog Who Saved Christmas Vacation’ and ‘The Dog Who Saved the Christmas Holidays’. There are more ‘Dog Who Saved…’ films, but we’ve just got the Christmas ones.
I did a quick review on the ‘Santa Paws’ trilogy in December 2018 whilst I quick reviewed ‘The Dog Who Saved Christmas Collection’ in December 2019. The ‘Santa Paws’ trilogy has more of a fantasy element to it, especially with it being set in the North Pole, having Santa Claus, reindeer and such. 😀
‘The Dog Who Saved Christmas Collection’ is more down-to-earth and based in reality, although that’s somewhat debatable considering the child characters keep changing actors and there’s always a ‘Home Alone’ element about these movies. And I just reviewed the ‘Home Alone’ movies recently.
I don’t know whether I’ll review another doggie Christmas collection of films this year. Probably not! Cuddles does like these films anyway ( 😀 ) and I’d be happy to review these movies in full detail someday. Whether that’ll be in December 2021 or December 2022, I don’t know. We’ll have to wait and see. 😀
Cuddles: “I’m feeling all Christmassy seeing these doggie Christmas films!”
Thanks for reading!
Check out what Day 23 of my ‘Bradley’s Basement’s Advent Calendars for 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 were about!
Bye for now!
Tim. 🙂
