Happy New Year From ‘Bradley’s Basement’ 2021

Happy New Year everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

2020 is now behind us! 😀 Let’s hope 2021 will be a better year compared to the previous year. I’m hoping all of us will get the Covid-19 vaccines soon so that we can return to a sense of normality. It will take a while for us to get back to normal, so in the meantime, please keep safe and well in 2021.

There are still some ‘Doctor Who’ stories to look forward to in terms of viewing, hearing and reading as well as some movies to see. I’m hoping to see new movies online via Google Play and Disney+ as well as new some new web shows I’m interested in. I hope I’ll get to see movies at the cinema too as well attend a few conventions by the time the coronavirus pandemic has come to an end.

Today on New Year’s Day, I’m looking forward to seeing the new ‘Doctor Who’ New Year’s Day Special called ‘Revolution of the Daleks’, starring Jodie Whittaker, Bradley Walsh, Tosin Cole, Mandip Gill and John Barrowman. I’m hoping it’ll be a good Dalek festive special to enjoy. I’ll share a quick review on that soon. I’m still preparing the ‘March of the Thirteenth Doctor’ marathon review season, but hopefully it should all be done by the time March 2021 comes along. 🙂

Series 10 of ‘Call the Midwife’ will be shown on BBC One this year. I’m looking forward to watching the seven-episode season when it comes out on TV. In the meantime, I hope to resume watching the ‘Call the Midwife’ series from Series 6 onwards. I’m also looking forward to seeing Series 6 of ‘Grantchester’ when it comes out on ITV1 in 2021.

After uploading the ‘Zorbius’ series of ‘Doctor Who’ stories in 2020, I’m happy to get back to continuing my ‘Fifth Doctor’ adventures with the Fifth Doctor, Nyssa and Billy on my blog by uploading ‘The Coins of Deno’ series. This will be an eight episode anthology of stories linked together by a quest for the search of the Coins of Deno. Stay tuned for when ‘The Coins of Deno’ comes out.

I’m looking forward to seeing the upcoming Blu-ray box set of Season 8 of ‘Doctor Who’ starring Jon Pertwee as the Third Doctor in 2021. That’ll contain some new ‘Behind the Sofa’ features with Sarah Sutton and Janet Fielding in them, which I’m really looking forward to seeing. I also hope to share new reviews on ‘The Power of the Daleks’, ‘Fury From The Deep’, ‘Great British Car Journeys’ with Peter Davison and Christopher Timothy and 2020’s ‘All Creatures Great and Small’.

On the convention side of things, I’m hoping to attend the ‘Bedford Who Charity Con 6’ this year. At present, it’s meant to take place on Saturday the 10th of April 2021. That might change due to Covid-19 restrictions, but I look forward to attending the convention when the time comes. I also hope I might see Sarah Sutton via a virtual convention sometime this year should it happen.

I’m going to wait until the pandemic ends to be sure I know what movies I’ll be seeing at cinemas. I’m hoping I’ll see ‘Wonder Woman 1984’ soon when it becomes available in the UK via video-on-demand on the 13th of January 2021. On the Disney+ side of things, I hope to see some new ‘Marvel Cinematic Universe’ shows like ‘WandaVision’, ‘The Falcon and the Winter Soldier’ and ‘Loki’. I’m hoping I’ll see movies like ‘Black Widow’, ‘Shang-Chi and the Legends of the Ten Rings’ and ‘Eternals’ this year as well as the third ‘MCU Spider-Man movie that happens to be pretty exciting.

I’ve got a special Easter review season to look forward to in April 2021 involving a series of ‘Doctor Who’ books and I’ll be sharing a ‘Star Wars Sequels Review Season’ in May 2021. The current ‘Nyssa Challenge’ mini-review season is coming to an end today, but I’m looking forward to preparing a new ‘Nyssa Challenge’ mini-review season from the end of 2021 to the start of 2022 soon. Stay tuned!

I pray and hope 2021 will be a positive year compared to 2020. There will be hurdles to overcome in the first half of 2021 I’m sure, but I would like to be optimistic and say that the future will be brighter. I hope I’ll continue to keep you entertained as we go through 2021 and what is arguably my blog’s sixth year. 🙂

I wish you all a very Happy New Year for 2021!

Here’s to the future and take care!

Thanks for reading!

Bye for now!

Tim. 🙂
