Here you’re getting a ‘Doctor Who’ Big Finish review by me earlier than usual! 😀 It’s time to check out the third and final story of the 2020 trilogy of Sixth Doctor audios by Big Finish called ‘The Lovecraft Invasion’. It’s a four-part story by Robert Valentine, featuring Colin Baker as the Sixth Doctor, Miranda Raison as Constance and Lisa Greenwood as Flip.
The story has the Doctor, Constance and Flip meeting sci-fi/horror author H.P. Lovecraft in Providence, Rhode Island, 1937. This was a fascinating and intriguing story to listen to as I discovered more about who H.P. Lovecraft was and how his legacy has been tainted over the years, especially in today’s climate.
