Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s Spring Bank Holiday Monday in May in the UK today! 🙂

I’ve recently updated my reviews on the five stories featured in the Season 8 Blu-ray box set of ‘Doctor Who’ with Jon Pertwee. I’m currently looking forward to Season 24 of ‘Doctor Who’ on Blu-ray with Sylvester McCoy when it comes out soon. For now, let’s talk about the five stories of Season 8 each in turn for each day of this week. Season 8 of ‘Doctor Who’ stars Jon Pertwee as the Third Doctor and Katy Manning as Jo Grant with Nicholas Courtney as the Brigadier, Roger Delgado as the Master, Richard Franklin as Captain Mike Yates and John Levene as Sergeant Benton. Movie Review – ‘Cruella’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

For the first time ever, I’ve seen a movie on Disney+ with Premier Access! That’s right! This Disney movie was released simultaneously at cinemas and on Disney+. And it was £19.99 well worth spent! I greatly enjoyed watching ‘Cruella’, a prequel film to the ‘The Hundred and One Dalmatians’ story. 🙂 Continue reading

Hello everyone! 🙂

As I’ve finished my reviews on Season 7 of ‘Star Trek: Deep Space Nine’, I’ve also shared my review on the latest documentary ‘What We Left Behind: Looking Back at ‘Star Trek: Deep Space Nine’ which commemorated 25 years of the show. I saw this documentary with my Mum at the ‘Destination Star Trek Birmingham’ convention in October 2018. Continue reading

‘Star Trek: Deep Space Nine’ – Season 7 REVIEWED

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s been a long road – and I’m not quoting from ‘Star Trek: Enterprise’s theme song 😀  – but I’ve finished watching and reviewing ‘Star Trek: Deep Space Nine’, one of my favourite and what I consider to be one of the best ‘Star Trek’ shows ever made. I’ve reviewed all 26 episodes of Season 7 of ‘Star Trek: DS9’. Continue reading

Quick DVD Review – ‘Myth Makers: Christopher Bidmead’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I decided to treat myself to another ‘Myth Makers’ DVD in the wake of my birthday recently. Because I’ve been revisiting Seasons 18 and 19 of ‘Doctor Who’ on Blu-ray lately, I purchased the ‘Myth Makers’ DVD for Christopher H. Bidmead, the show’s script editor for Season 18 in the 1980s. And welcome to the final instalment of the ‘Star Wars Sequels Review Season’!

After checking out and reviewing the original Thrawn trilogy by Timothy Zahn, it’s time to conclude this ‘Star Wars’ review season by checking out the final film of the ‘official’ ‘Star Wars’ sequels trilogy – ‘Star Wars: Episode IX – The Rise of the Skywalker’. The first time I saw this movie was back in December 2019. Continue reading

Quick Blu-ray Review – ‘Sil and the Devil Seeds of Arodor’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

And I’d like to pay tribute to a ‘Doctor Who’ writer who has contributed to the classic TV show significantly – Philip Martin. Sadly, we lost Philip Martin in December 2020. He wrote two enjoyable TV stories such as ‘Vengeance on Varos’ and the ‘Mindwarp’ segment of ‘The Trial of a Time Lord’. 🙂 Continue reading

Quick DVD Box Set Review – ‘The Captain America Triple Bill’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Is anyone missing the ‘Captain America’ films from the ‘MCU’ or ‘The Falcon and the Winter Soldier’ series that was shown on Disney+ lately? Over my birthday celebrations recently, I checked out a trilogy of vintage of ‘Captain America’ films given to me by my parents in May. I enjoyed these films. Continue reading
