Happy New Year From ‘Bradley’s Basement’ 2022

Happy New Year everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

2021 has come and gone. Let’s hope 2022 will be a better year compared to the previous two years we’ve had in living through the Covid-19 pandemic – please keep safe. By the time you’ve read this, I should have had my Covid booster jab. I hope that mostly everyone else will have received their booster jab!

There are plenty of things to look forward to in 2022 that I hope to share on my blog. I hope to get back to doing some more ‘Doctor Who’ reviews. I have quite a lot of Big Finish audios featuring Christopher Eccleston’s Ninth Doctor and David Tennant’s Tenth Doctor to check out and review.

I’m currently looking forward to the ‘Forty’ box set featuring Peter Davison’s Fifth Doctor, Sarah Sutton’s Nyssa, Janet Fielding’s Tegan and Matthew Waterhouse’s Adric to check out and review on my blog. I shall do a quick review on that when it comes out in January this year as well as review it again in the next ‘Nyssa Challenge’ mini-review season from 2022 to 2023. Even though the current ‘Nyssa Challenge’ mini-review season is still happening, I’m getting things ready for the next review season.

I’m currently looking forward to checking out the New Year’s Day Special of ‘Doctor Who’ on BBC TV today, which is called ‘Eve of the Daleks’, starring Jodie Whittaker as the Thirteenth Doctor, Mandip Gill as Yaz and John Bishop as Dan. The special looks pretty exciting, especially with the Daleks in it. 🙂

There’ll be an Easter review season to look forward to later in the year in April. I’m also looking forward to sharing the complete eight episode anthology of ‘Doctor Who’ by me featuring the Fifth Doctor, Nyssa and Billy called ‘The Coins of Deno’. I’ll be sharing this anthology soon in early January.

I hope to enjoy more of ‘Around the World in 80 Days’ with David Tennant. Series 11 of ‘Call the Midwife’ will also be shown on BBC One soon this year. I’m looking forward to seeing Series 7 of ‘Grantchester’ when it comes out on ITV1 sometime in 2022. I also hope to see Series 3 of the new ‘All Creatures Great and Small’ series on Channel 5. There’s so much to enjoy this year. 🙂

I hope to check out more movies and TV shows online via streaming sites such as Disney+ and Britbox. I hope to share my review on Season 2 of the new ‘Alex Rider’ series and hopefully on the ‘Superman & Lois’ series, Season 2 of ‘Star Trek: Picard’, ‘The Orville’ series and more of ‘The Book of Boba Fett’ series. 😀

Regarding conventions, I hope I’ll be able to attend another convention in 2022. I know Sarah Sutton has shared with me that she hopes to attend a convention sometime in 2022. When that’ll be, I don’t know. I hope I’ll see Sarah again sometime in 2022 as well as some other ‘Doctor Who’ stars. 🙂

At present, I don’t have any plans in terms of seeing movies at the cinema. I would like to see films like ‘Morbius’, ‘Downton Abbey: A New Era’, ‘Sonic the Hedgehog 2’ and ‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (Part One)’. Whether I’ll see those movies at the cinema is another matter. Hopefully I’ll get a chance to see them sometime in 2022. 🙂

2022 has a lot to live up to in terms of being a better year compared to 2020 and 2021. I hope the hurdles we go through in 2022 won’t be too severe. I hope everyone will get to enjoy this year in some form or other. I also hope to continue entertaining you with the things I wish to share on my blog.

Let’s hope ‘Bradley’s Basement’s full-on seventh year will be good.

I wish you all a very Happy New Year for 2022!

Here’s to the future and take care!

Thanks for reading!

Bye for now!

Tim. 🙂

    Happy new year Tim. 🥳

Let’s hope 2022 will be better than 2021. I’m looking forward to ‘Eve of the Daleks’ as well as the rest of the Nyssa Challenge. Hopefully I will have my blog started by this month. I’ve already started working on it and I have quite a few ideas planned.

I’ve had my booster jab as well, in mid-december.

    Take care, WF92.
