Movie Review – ‘The Finest Hours’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

On the 18th of February 1952, the historic United States Coast Guard rescue of the crew of the SS Pendleton took place. On the 18th of February 2022, my parents and I watched ‘The Finest Hours’, a 2016 film that chronicled the event. It was surreal to watch the film on the event’s 70th anniversary. Continue reading

This was also the first ‘Transformers’ film that I didn’t see at the cinema when it was came out in 2014. Did I find the film worthwhile in the end when watching it for the first time on DVD? Quick TV Series Review – ‘Superman & Lois’ (Season 1)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I’ve finished watching Season 1 of ‘Superman & Lois’ on BBC iPlayer! I’ve greatly enjoyed watching this series. Each of the 15 episodes in Season 1 has been compelling throughout, especially for a continuous story. It also depicts Superman in a manner that I’m so glad is well-defined and realised. Continue reading

Movie Review – ‘Bedknobs and Broomsticks’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Last Friday, my parents and I saw a good Disney film on Disney+. This is the 1971 film ‘Bedknobs and Broomsticks’. I recall seeing this film as a little kid. The film might have been my introduction to World War II and the Nazis in 1940 as well as witches, though I can’t say this with absolute certainty. Continue reading
