Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!
And we come to the fourth story in Season 17 of ‘Doctor Who’ on Blu-ray with Tom Baker. It’s time for ‘Nightmare of Eden’, a four-part adventure by the late Bob Baker, starring Tom Baker and Lalla Ward, joined by K-9 (voiced by David Brierley). This ‘Doctor Who’ adventure has drug-smuggling and the monstrous Mandrels in it.
Once again, I enjoyed some of the Blu-ray special features on the ‘Nightmare of Eden’ disc, including the ‘Behind the Sofa’ item featuring Colin Baker, Matthew Waterhouse, Katy Manning, Nicola Bryant, Mat Irvine, June Hudson and Graeme Harper. I also enjoyed the CGI effects option of the story. The ‘Bob Baker: In Conversation’ interview conducted by Matthew Sweet seems to be insightful.
