Happy Easter From ‘Bradley’s Basement’ 2022

Happy Easter everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s time to celebrate Easter again! Thankfully, at this time, pandemic restrictions have eased quite significantly in the UK. I still advise you to keep safe, but hopefully we can enjoy Easter a little better compared to the last couple of Easters we’ve had in previous years. I hope you’ll be able to enjoy the Easter holidays this year. I’m sure there are some Easter Eggs to enjoy! 😀

It’s also important to remember the true meaning of Easter, as Jesus Christ, God’s son, died on the cross to save us from our sins and was raised to life again three days later. For my Good Friday post this year, I’ve shared my latest review on ‘Jesus of Nazareth’, the 1977 dramatisation on the story of Jesus from Christmas to Easter time, directed by Franco Zeffirelli and starring Robert Powell.

I wish you all well and I pray you’ll have a great Easter Sunday today. My current Easter review season for 2022 is on ‘The Divergent Universe’ season of ‘Doctor Who’, starring Paul McGann as the Eighth Doctor. Today, I’ll be sharing my review on the fourth story of the season called ‘The Twilight Kingdom’. Stay tuned for my reviews on the rest of ‘The Divergent Universe’ season of ‘Doctor Who’.

I’m looking forward to checking out ‘Legend of the Sea Devils’, the 2022 Easter Special of ‘Doctor Who’, starring Jodie Whittaker as the Thirteenth Doctor, Mandip Gill as Yaz and John Bishop as Dan. It’ll be nice to see the Sea Devils for the first time in the new ‘Doctor Who’ TV series as well as the penultimate TV adventure in the Jodie Whittaker/Chris Chibnall era.

Stay tuned for more Easter surprises coming your way by me on my blog!

Meanwhile, enjoy the rest of your Easter break!

Thanks for reading!

Bye for now!

Tim. 🙂

    Hi Tim, and happy Easter.

Did you attend an Easter service this year? I saw some of a virtual service. I like that you’ve reviewed ‘Jesus of Nazareth’. It’s been added to Britbox recently, so I’m thinking of watching it myself. I don’t know if I’ll review it yet though.

I heard part 1 of ‘The Waters of Amsterdam’ this morning. I’ve enjoyed it so far. I’ll be sharing my thoughts on it soon, along with ‘The Elite’, ‘Invasion of the Dinasours’, and ‘Allo Allo’. At the end of this month, I will be uploading a post where I explain what I have done on my blog so far, and what I have planned for the future.

    Take care, WF92.

      Happy Easter, WF92!

Yes, I attended an Easter service this morning at my local church. I did an opening prayer whilst my Dad did a reading. I’m pleased I reviewed ‘Jesus of Nazareth’ this year. I’m considering doing a review on ‘The Passion of the Christ’ as an Easter review, though that one’s rather violent and I might share a children’s video on the Easter story next year. Yes, I noticed ‘Jesus of Nazareth’ has been added to Britbox when I was checking out the last episode of Series 7 of ‘Grantchester’. I didn’t realise this year was ‘Jesus of Nazareth’s 45th anniversary. Good timing to review the four-part serial on ‘Bradley’s Basement’. 😀 Hope you enjoy ‘Jesus of Nazareth’ on Britbox. You might want to allocate four days to watch, it since each of the four episodes is about 2 hours in length.

Hope you enjoy more of ‘The Waters of Amsterdam’. Looking forward to your review on it as well as ‘The Elite’, ‘Invasion of the Dinosaurs’ and ‘Allo, Allo’. Also looking forward to your plans for your blog in future. Hope you enjoy ‘Legend of the Sea Devils’ today!

      Many thanks,

      Tim 🙂
