Hello everyone! 🙂
Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!
Today is my birthday! 🙂 I’m sharing with you a birthday card I had from my parents last year. It’s of course a ‘Doctor Who’ birthday card, featuring the Cybermen from ‘Earthshock’ and Peter Davison as the Fifth Doctor. There is also one of the androids and the space freighter from ‘Earthshock’ on it.
I’m looking forward to enjoying my birthday this year. This will hopefully be a birthday like the ones from 2016 to 2019 as opposed to 2020 and 2021. Yesterday, my best mate Stephen and I enjoyed ourselves in Barry Island. I’m looking forward to checking out the birthday presents he has for me. 🙂
I’m also looking forward to opening my birthday cards and receiving any birthday messages sent to me today from friends and family. There might be some birthday presents too. 😀 I’m hoping to have a ‘Frankie & Benny’s meal soon, since I have enjoyed their lasagnes lately with side orders of fries. 😀
This year, I’m looking forward to checking out the latest ‘MCU’ film ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’ starring Benedict Cumberbatch as my birthday film at the cinema. So far, I’ve heard positive things said about the movie. I’m hoping the film will turn out to be an enjoyable experience.
Sometime today, I’m hoping to watch ‘Black Orchid’, my favourite ‘Doctor Who’ story with the Fifth Doctor, Nyssa, Tegan and Adric on DVD, Blu-ray or Britbox. Perhaps I’ll have a chance to listen to ‘Circular Time’, my favourite ‘Doctor Who’ Big Finish audio, which I had for my birthday in May 2008.
There isn’t a convention for me to attend to this year for my birthday, but I’m currently looking forward to seeing Sarah Sutton and Peter Davison at the ‘Newcastle Comic Con’ in July 2022. It should be an exciting weekend and knowing that I’ll soon be attending the event makes me happy. 🙂
I wish to say many thanks to everyone who has supported ‘Bradley’s Basement’ in what is its seventh year. Stay tuned for more reviews and items on my blog coming soon for the rest of 2022. Life nowadays seems to be more hopeful with fewer pandemic restrictions and I hope it’ll stay that way.
But still, please keep safe!
This is me signing off to enjoy my birthday today!
Bye for now.
