DVD review – ‘Becoming Jane’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

So, I was planning to do an updated review on the 2019 film ‘Little Women’ and perhaps do a quick review on the 1994 film adaptation. Sadly, that hasn’t come about with things getting in the way. Thankfully, I can make up for that by doing an in-depth review on the biographical drama film ‘Becoming Jane’, focusing on the early life of Jane Austen.

This 2007 film stars Anna Hathaway as Jane Austen with James McAvoy, Julie Walters, James Cromwell and Maggie Smith. I used this film as a source of inspiration to help me write my ‘Doctor Who’ story ‘The Austen Code’. But does the film truly represent the real-life events of a young Jane Austen falling in love to inspire her to write her books?

Please feel free to check out, read and comment on my new DVD review of ‘Becoming Jane’ by clicking on the link.

Enjoy!

Bye for now!

Tim. 🙂
