‘Star Trek: Voyager’ – Season 1 REVIEWED

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I’ve finished checking out Season 1 of ‘Star Trek: Voyager’! It’s taken me a while, but I’m pleased to have revisited all 15 episodes of the season. ‘Voyager’ is a series set in the 24th century where the crew of the starship Voyager are sent 7,000 light years from their home in the Alpha Quadrant to the Delta Quadrant.

Over the years, ‘Voyager’ has received quite a lot of criticism in terms of a series from ‘Star Trek’ fans. I personally like ‘Voyager’ as a series and I hope to elaborate on why I like some of the episodes featured in each season as well as the characters featured in it. This is essentially a ‘Lost in Space’-style of ‘Star Trek’ series.

The starship Voyager is captained by Captain Kathryn Janeway. Flung across the galaxy, the Voyager crew make the return journey home to the Alpha Quadrant. Janeway is joined by Chakotay, B’Elanna Torres, Tom Paris, Kes, Neelix, the holographic Doctor, Tuvok and Harry Kim. They encounter many dangers in the first year of their voyage home, including alien enemies like the Kazons and the Vidiians.

For my Season 1 post of ‘Voyager’, check out this photo of me with Kate Mulgrew who played Captain Janeway in ‘Voyager’ from the ‘Destination Star Trek Birmingham’ convention that I attended in October 2018. 🙂

I’m off to watch and review Season 2 of ‘Star Trek: Voyager’ next! Stay tuned for reviews on the 26 episodes from Season 2 of ‘Voyager’ coming soon to my ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog.

Tim. 🙂
