Today, we take a look at the fourth and final audio story of Season 1 of ‘The Ninth Doctor Adventures’ of ‘Doctor Who’ by Big Finish, starring Christopher Eccleston as the Ninth Doctor. This anthology of three audio episodes has Christopher Eccleston’s Doctor reunite with Brigadier Alistair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart, meeting Sam Bishop and facing the Cybermen.
The three episodes include ‘Fond Farewell’ by David K Barnes, and ‘Way of the Burryman’ and ‘The Forth Generation’ by Roy Gill. ‘Old Friends’ is directed by Helen Goldwyn. The fourth volume of ‘Ninth Doctor Adventures’ also features special guest stars like Warren Brown as Sam Bishop, Jon Culshaw as the Brigadier, Elinor Lawless as Fiona McCall and Nicholas Briggs as the Cybermen.
