Movie Review – ‘Catch that Kid’/’Mission Without Permission’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Last Friday, I saw the movie ‘Catch that Kid’ on Disney+. Apparently, it’s a remake of the Danish film called ‘Klatretøsen’. Not that I would know that fact beforehand when watching this film, though I have seen the film on display at DVD stores and it has taken me a while to check this certain film out. Continue reading

Hello everyone.

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley.

Not only has David Warner passed away recently, but so has Bernard Cribbins. 😦 I’m saddened Bernard Cribbins is no longer with us. I saw him recently on the big screen when checking out the two ‘Doctor Who’ films with Peter Cushing as well as 1970’s ‘The Railway Children’ on Prime Video. Continue reading

Well, I’ve seen the fourth ‘Thor’ film in the ‘Marvel Cinematic Universe’‘Thor: Lovely and Thunderous’ ( 😀 ), starring Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman. Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Let’s talk about ‘The Railway Children’! I first became aware of E. Nesbit’s children’s story through the 2000 TV film, featuring Jenny Agutter as the mother and Jemima Rooper as Bobbie. Lately, I’ve checked out ‘The Railway Children’ films – the 1970 film and the 2022 sequel, both made for cinema. Continue reading

It comes at a good time for me to revisit these ‘Spider-Man’ films before I share a brand-new review on ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’. Continue reading

Movie Review – ‘Alice in Wonderland’ (1951)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

When it comes to talking about Lewis Carroll and the worlds he created for ‘Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland’ and ‘Alice Through The Looking Glass’, the current adaptation that springs to mind for me nowadays is the one that stars Sarah Sutton as Alice in the BBC’s 1973 ‘Alice Through The Looking Glass’. 🙂 Continue reading

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

‘Spider-Man 3’ is not available on Disney+ yet, but that shouldn’t stop us from revisiting the third movie of the original ‘Spider-Man’ film trilogy by Sam Raimi, starring Tobey Maguire as Peter Parker/Spider-Man. I’ve updated my review on the movie with some extra paragraphs on the characters as well as adding some new photos of the movie. Continue reading
