It’s time to continue checking out Season 22 of ‘Doctor Who’ on Blu-ray with Colin Baker, as we look into the second TV story of the season called ‘Vengeance on Varos’. This is the first ‘Doctor Who’ story by writer Philip Martin and it introduces the character of Sil, played by Nabil Shaban. This ‘Doctor Who’ story has divided opinion on whether it’s nice or whether it’s nasty. 😀
It’s been interesting to revisit this ‘Doctor Who’ story with Colin Baker as the Sixth Doctor and Nicola Bryant as Peri, especially through its extended version on Blu-ray. I’ve also enjoyed some of the brand-new Blu-ray extras for the story, including the ‘Behind the Sofa’ item on ‘Vengeance on Varos’ with Colin Baker, Nicola Bryant, Terry Molloy, Peter Davison, Sarah Sutton, Janet Fielding, Sylvester McCoy and Wendy Padbury.
